had an accident in norway a couple of years ago, (before digital era so not too much pics around)  front collision so the front was bent back a bit.. after the collision I couldn't get it into gear because stuff was bent (only 1st and backwards). Decided to do the collision the other way round to "repair" the shifting. tied a tow rope to the tow ring and the other end round a big tree. I backed up full throttle twice, and all gears were back again. after that we drove it 1500kms home to Holland and then we scrapped it cos it would certainly fail MOT.  unfortunately the 55000kms were real and it was completely rust free |

mk2 polo g40, not too rusty, lightweight and parts are cheap (except g-lader, but that's also doable)
citroen AX gti, lihtweight and fast
nova, 2 ltr gives a lot of power, rust can be an issue
ovlov s 40, powerrrr easily available in the volvo family, not expensive anymore for a tatty example, volvo reliability, something else..

had a coilover kit from a mk2/mk3 golf on mine at the rear, worked out fine. some koni's from an early audi 80 at the front together with weitec springs and lowered it was..

1600cc mk3 golf engine fits, but doesn't develop that much power..
fit some bike carbs, or GT bits..
75bhp gives a lot of fun in these tiny boxes

some japanese BBS copy? Work? they have some more models inspired on BBS wheels. so my guess is Work X1  these look a bit alike.. |

I'd get something small japanese
reliable easy and cheap runners
something like a suzuki swift Gti or a toyota starlet GT, get one for around 600, remove interior trim and fit cage.

I thought i was used to driving a modern untill I used a yaris for a couple of days and I found out I tend to check temp gauges regularly, and the yaris hasn't got one!

be careful with grease/wax, allways make sure products which are not directly meant for use with cars are acid free. Vaseline can contain acid and therefore cause rust.

Endpieces (2 left bottom) 10 pounds a piece and a doorpanel (right middle) 5 pounds and a left inner wing front (black piece on top of the pile bottom of the picture) ten pounds the frontpiece is sold to Darren  some other piece, dunno what, maybe boot of a audi 80, 10 pounds if you have a clue what it is, pls reply  make me an offer for more pieces, shipping is no problem. If you want the whole lot make me an offer. Cleaned it up due to items being sold |

why not use a lexus v8 and box? prob cheaper and you are sure the box can cope with the power..
924 aren't that powerfull, so box is maybe a bit weak and can't handle v8 power

CVT rocks, go to a proper autobox specialist and get it fixed, nothing on the panda forums?
maybe one of the RRers will be able to help you out..
checked all the fuses btw, wouldn't be the first time someone dismatles the whole car to find out a fuse was blown...

therefore I drive an 08 focus for commuting,
automatic lighting, heated front and rear screen (ice ->1 min idle, wipe and go) etc
the classics are hibernating
