Thanks joem83, that looks like something out of mission impossible! They’re a lot cheaper than they look too. I think I understand what your saying, but to get rid of the white boxes I’d have to make up male ends on my cables. The BT guy said they can be a bit hit and miss when you make up the ends yourself, but I don’t know how true that is. The patch panels don't need male ends, you terminate the cables into them and then use a patch lead to the switch if that makes sense? This is my mini patch panel behind the tv, the 8 cables terminate and go back to the patch panel in the loft, then into the switch. Traffic from port 1 does all that and then goes back to the router on port 2 haha

With the splitter, you usually need one at each end. I wired my house whilst I was renovating. All this connect to the internet via 1 cat6 into the router - that handles all the dhcp & the switch just routes traffic. All network points go into patch panel Patch panel then has patch leads into smart switch Works well tbh, all gigabit So if you put a switch between your internet router & plug it in with 1 cable - the rest of your house can connect via switch. Then stick a 5 port network switch your sons room. I have something like this in the living room for all the media stuff - so you could swap those 4 boxes for one of these. Then use short patch leads to a switch with 1 going into your router www.amazon.co.uk/TRENDnet-1000BASE-T-10GBASE-T-Compatible-TC-P08C6AS/dp/B07QJD23KBIf it doesnt make sense just say, I'm a bit rusty with networking.

Interesting question, I found some land with a fallen down building for sale recently - it's cheap as well - but it's only cheap if you can put a house on it lol.
I cant help with your question, but might be useful to say which council the land would fall under & if it's green belt or not - those can make a big difference.
I'd imagine if planning went in saying it's all for equestrian use it might sneak through a bit better (horse trailer storage barn... lol)

Chrome, be gone Have some wheel spacers to try, I think it could do with coming down 20mm & 215's instead of the 205's. Happy with how it looks though, colour match for Halfords paint is pretty decent! This is possibly the best paint finish I have ever achieved - etch primer/base/clear - wet sand & meguires ultimate compound with drill attachement.

G26 chassis is 2598mm (about 102" wheel base..) no idea what the Eagle is... 93” the way I measured from wheel centre to wheel centre. Saved by the bell. You could, erm, always... Chop the rocket and stretch it 😂

Why do people toss so much stuff that is perfectly useable? I never quite understood that, until recently. Time & space V's dealing with time wasters. We have had to half what was in our loft as we have a looming loft conversion & after trying and failing to sell (cheap!)/give things away - most of it went in the skip/charity shops (took 3 shops to find one that would accept donations & if they hadnt taken it the stuff was getting skipped as well) If you need to get stuff sorted quickly, it's just so much easier to skip it. Had we not thrown stuff away - I would have had to pay £200p/m to store stuff that I didnt want/need.

Very brave project! I scrapped better lol. Nice work, Like Mini's (original & BMW,) but with my size I'd need one for each foot !! Really looking forward to seeing the updates on this thread, Nigel I can fit in every mini including the original! 6ft and size 12 feet no issues! You can get seat slider extenders for the classics. In fact the seat in my 2nd gen bini goes back to far for me to reach peddles lol.

Either that or, to them, is just another thing. I've met people who live in run down houses and own cars that many here would consider desirable but to the owners, are just old cars and are there to be used, like a fridge. When they stop working, they just discard it. To most people, cars are just that, disposable. The house & car's in 2011 were all in good order & you can see them all slowly deteriorate. Was a nice yellow TVR on the drive as well.
