If it’s been taken abroad and nothing registered (only assuming as no documents) it might be really simple? Might just be like it has been off the road for 20 years. No one needs to know it has left the country if there’s nothing saying it has It's on the system as permanently exported, but no mention of it coming back. Ttfn Glenn

Still cannot resist the temptation of a big kwacker Zzr1100 needing brakes and a carb overhaul Another zzr1100 needing brakes, ignition fault sorting and probably a carb clean Ttfn Glenn

Keep getting tempted by the thought of sticking a turbo on one of my Kawasaki 1100s. Need to get some more of them running first Ttfn Glenn

I have picked up yet another project, it was uk registered, but taken abroad, about 20 years ago, no documents but does have number plate and vin number. Will getting a v5 be a as simple as applying for it, or will this just be a huge can of worms Ttfn Glenn

Remote electronic interference to play with the settings/operation of the sound system? Possibly try some aromatherapy, some pretty unusual smells might encourage less activity. CCTV to keep a record of any problems, Study up on the techniques used by bullies, can be very helpful to understand your enemy. Home made turbocharger jet engine, to completely drown out his sound system don't let this get to you, don't get mad get even Ttfn Glenn

Made another small step with the jetski bike project Picked up a butchered kawasaki 500 triple frame, to keep the theme on the right lines Quick thrown together mock up, using the zzr1100 wheels and suspension, but looking at using the rolling gear from a gs550 to give a more period look Yet again things have taken a sharp about face with cutting down the fleet. Another marketplace find Now have a brace of zrx1100, although this one is sons Needs a large dose of looking at but mostly complete and now running The twins Ttfn Glenn

A possible option for the cylinder head and cam, could be needle roller bearings, used to be pretty common in the honda 250 350 twin world Ttfn Glenn

Trying to bling up the tank badges, decided to go the whole hog and use gold leaf Clean and degrease, then apply the size ( glue ) Apply the leaf, then gently tap down with a soft brush Carefully remove the excess, then paint black Carefully wipe with a kitchen towel dipped in thinner, a few bits round the edge will need the black touching up and a part of the top badge will need re gilding as I got a bit heavy handed. Using fake leaf so it costs pennies, in case anyone thought I was being a bit spendy Ttfn Glenn

I have officially run out of space, but still another big kwacker followed me home It's a 1982 kz1100a, American import but no documents, current plan is to get it running, then break it for parts for my other zeds. At the moment, it spins over but has no sparks, so electrics will be getting investigated. Before starting, opened up the airbox Something had decided to make itself a home The air filter, that's meant to have a foam sock around it With some luck, this will be running over the weekend Ttfn Glenn

Son has rebuilt the front end of the gpz1100, a fork seal was leaking, the headstock bearings were dry, and 40 year old rubber hoses were replaced with braided lines Also finished covering the spare seat with alcantara, slightly wrinkled, hopefully will settle with use Ttfn Glenn

Have to admit I am biased Have you considered a kawasaki zrx Retro styling, modern running gear, and if you look after it, will not loose money Alongside my 1982 z1000 Ttfn Glenn Ps not a clue on mpg as it's a play bike

The registration and some history of the silver gpz1100 This currently has its front end in pieces to replace fork seals, fit braided lines and overhaul calipers. Another accidental marketplace spot, means, I have another big kwacker A 1982 z1000j that has been half turned into an 1100r replica. Current plans are, ride it, redirect the conversion to make it a z1000r eddie Lawson replica, needs a new rear tyre, as the one fitted is starting to crack. And because I am such a tart, here's some of the fleet Ttfn Glenn Ps also picked up another jetski engine so that project made a minuscule step forward

Not much has happened with bikes lately, been focusing on reorganizing the shed Can't make an omlet without breaking some eggs, and at the moment, am up to my ears in batter. Son happened across yet another marketplace advert, so I ended up with yet another motorcycle Used to have one many years ago, didn't intend on getting another, but this popped up 5 miles away. South African import, so almost zero rust, but some paint bleaching Ttfn Glenn
