2cv has a chassis so how about using that as a platform to mount the mx5 parts to? Or possibly consider a taxi chassis, Possibly go all out, drop the 2cv over a registered lotus7 7 clone Ttfn Glenn

One way of rescuing swivels, clean out the worst of any pits, degrease, fill with JB weld, smooth off, have used this method on several motorcycle forks to good effect Ttfn Glenn

Another distraction for me. Rescued this from the scrap pile, plugged in, and it runs, blew out the motor, filled the gearbox with grease, just need to try it in anger now Ttfn Glenn

Gotta say that for me the sound of a J 4 running an old school 4-1 zaust is one of my favourite sounds ever, any chance of a vid of your Z1j lumping over with a few blips of the throttle maybe ? Kwaka Z1s of early eighties pure porn imo Just about every bike is in some sort of disarray at the moment, keep getting distracted from my distractions, Had some old suzuki parts on marketplace, got offered a swap for a 955i triumph sprint. The suzuki parts didn't really owe us anything, so free motorcycle Have all the bodywork to go with it Possibly not retro enough, so here's project zed nine eleven Ttfn Glenn

I have heard that making copyright claims has become a big thing on YouTube. People make claims just to try and make money, Best way forward, is, no music, or copyright free, public domain music, or someone's own work with a credit in the video. Don't get caught with a tv or radio playing in the background Ttfn Glenn

Finally got back to some of my motorcycle projects, more calipers got a refurbish Lots of cleaning and new seals, now ready for fitting Son now has his katana down to a bare frame, and the gsx750f reduced to a pile of parts Would be rude not to try a quick test fit Fits nicely, pulled it back out so he can clean and paint the motor Finally put a couple of bikes on charge to keep them ready Finally, as if I wasent bad enough, with too many irons in the fire, started trying to learn bass guitar, borrowing this from son to see how I get on with it Ttfn Glenn

Son has pulled his katana down to a bare frame, now rubbed down and painted The gsx now mostly stripped, needs severe cleaning, and an oil leak fixing Brake calipers getting overhauled, various odds and ends getting cleaned ready for use. My bandit was going back together, now coming apart again, cannot fit fuel line to carbs after they are refitted! Also going to service forks and grease all the suspension and steering Ttfn Glenn

Finally got to play with the bandit The freshly polished exhast is now fitted, a session of fault finding, traced the not turning over to a faulty clutch switch. Fitted a centre stand to make it easier to work on in future. Need to get a plug spanner to fit the bike, so I can refit the plugs Ttfn Glenn

Another option to consider, cut an access hole in the top or the inside of the sill, then you can use drifts to hammer it out, then weld up the access hole and refinish Ttfn Glenn

Have to send them, V5 application Export documents ( don't have any ) Current mot Payment for tax Proof of address If I don't want to tax it, I can send a sorn application at the same time, and no need for mot
It cannot be that simple can it??? Not even a fee for the v5!!!! Ttfn Glenn

As awoo says, drop in an application for a v5, what's the worst that can happen? Edit- it's DVLA, could go very bad very quickly! 🙄 Think that's all I can do, am used to dvla problems, spent 2 years chasing the identity of my beach buggy after its ID was used to ring another Ttfn Glenn
