I've never looked but I don't doubt it... My experience though, is that a current occupant will make a difference. And don't forget that what I use at work will be different to what the general public will use due to our custom scorecards. It's impossible, for example, for an individual to achieve a 'perfect' 999 score through the system I use. Something of a moot point now though as it won't make any difference to Matt

CCJs are tied to a person, not an address. A CCJ at your premises under someone else's name does not affect your credit rating. It shouldn't, but it can and does if the person that it's been issued to has other traceable ties to the address (electoral register, CAIS data etc.). It's certainly the case with the 'scorecard' my employer has set up with Experian. I didn't think that through before.. so in this case it wouldn't have any effect.

I didn't stay a whole weekend this time, but arrived at 9am yesterday and left at about 11.. I only got a little bit lost dealing with road closures for the balloon fiesta ;D As ever, I had a fantastic time and since it was quieter than normal, it stayed pretty focussed. We managed to get the wheel studs changed on the Rascal (though nothing ever goes entirely to plan, right? ) and Bruce managed to get the clutch changed on his Cavalier which looked like a right ball ache of a job.. Great to catch up with people, meet Rich (Rich606?), discuss Gathering plans, play with cool cars, go for a ride in James' Imp.. Look forward to the photos of the bits I missed

I've had many good experiences with the AA, and one tosser but I firmly believe he was the exception.
Roadside and relay with the good lady added for a £10. Adding a second person suddenly makes it much better value if you both spend out of the same pot of money anyway.
My experience is that out of hours, they run a skeleton staff and use external contractors and I've been really happy with the ones I've had. As above, they all appear to be proper petrol heads (AA Patrol and contractors..) so are pleased to get something interesting to play with rather than putting the spacesaver on someone's '09 Megane.
Standard roadside and relay covers the person, not the car and they will deliver you to the destination of your choice.
EDIT: I've been lucky enough not to have to use the Relay part of my cover. It seems to be the only bit that lets the service down a bit because they do relay you across the country, meaning that journey times can be hugely increased. Still, for the price, I'm more than happy with that.

Assuming they are correctly torqued up, I can't see why it'd be an issue. The only thing I can think of is that the originals may have been like that to prevent the risk of damaging around the bolt holes on assembly. I'm only working on the same logic as you, so I'd want more confirmation first ;D

was originally just coming for the sunday but may be able to do the whole weekend now, what sort of things happening on the saturday? Not much. But that, in previous years has been the beauty of it. It's an opportunity to relax, meet new people, catch up with old friends, have a coffee, have a beer.. surrounded by cool cars without having to worry that you're missing the show. If you can get a ticket, do it.

I had a 10mm round off and I got it undone by using a six sided 3/8 on my air gun. I reckon that's a good call. 3/8" is just just under half a millimetre smaller than a 10 so you may get enough purchase

That was owned by James (Eightsix) but I believe he sold it on when he bought a new house late last year. His attention to detail is impeccable so it was beautifully turned out. He painted it himself some time after that too. Robin, I'm in a similar boat through a different set of circumstances and will be gutted to miss any time there. I'll be dropping by as close to monthly as I can but weekends are far less likely Ryan, that was sort of the reason for posting that. It's because people have clever phones IMO. Smartphones instantly uploading to facebook means the cool pics are still being taken and seen, but only by a few people, and only for a short while (who actually goes back and looks through old Facebook photos of people they aren't stalking ) whereas if they are here, they are almost a public record for looking back on in a reminiscent way and to get people more involved in the RR community.. That's my opinion anyway. Unfortunately I'm an absolute luddite that can't use an ipod without supervision and I'm no good at composing photos so I'm doing my best to encourage others ;D

Personally, I wouldn't want to stick stickers to my car to make it look cool. I'd stick stickers that promoted something I like or believe in, but wouldn't go out of my way to obtain them even then.. I can't think of anything worse than stickerbombing as well. I thought the idea of something covered in stickers is that it shows what you've done or where you've been over a period of months and years. It's like patina. You can't force it

I didn't know a single person when I camped in 2009. I'm close friends with many, many of the people I met that weekend. You've missed most of the show if you miss the camping, IMO

I'd suggest putting 'not known at this address, please RTS' on the envelopes too.
The only thing that concerns me is that if you've received confirmation of a CCJ, at your address, it could potentially effect your credit rating so I'd be wanting to contact the court on that one..
