Personally, I wouldn't want to stick stickers to my car to make it look cool. I'd stick stickers that promoted something I like or believe in, but wouldn't go out of my way to obtain them even then.. I can't think of anything worse than stickerbombing as well. I thought the idea of something covered in stickers is that it shows what you've done or where you've been over a period of months and years. It's like patina. You can't force it ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

I can usually manage to fit em level and in the middle without having to get the spirit level out though ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

worthersee seems to be ahead of whats trendy. Darren's thread here: retrorides.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=105544&page=1seems to show that this year clean is in.. (And possibly satin/matt paint and mahoosive shiny rims) So if you want to be really trendy, don't do stickers! Personally though, if that floats your boat go for it! Its your ride, do what makes you smile and sod everyone else so long as it does kill too many kittens ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

I've got a Goodwood sticker in my back window - if they spot it in the car park at the Revival or FoS, you might win free tickets... ;D ...and also a SuckSqueezeBangBlow sticker, natch. PM me your address, you can have one for free. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

![](http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/2372/ocukl.jpg) Well this is the car in question. I have already de-stickered it, removed a horrible sun strip and a turbo sticker. Now I love this car in so many ways, but right now I think it looks a bit gay. what I was thinking is it needs something to match the whacky paint job. basically I want it to look like a 18 year old males car and less like a 30 year old womans. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I put a load of stickers on my rear quarter window but recently took them all of because I realised they looked poo. I still have a load on my dash but I don't mind them there so they'll probably stay, I'd say your car will definitely look better without any, and it's a nice colour. Lowering will make the difference you need ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) Maybe even a rear window louvre if you can find one

Lows, remove the chrome bit from the grill and black tinted lights. Love that colour.

Drop the back, SLAM the front, colour is ace, wheels will look a million times better with lows (lows first before thinking of changing them, you'll be surprised)
But most of all, please, please please put a proper grille back on.

Thanks for all the replies. I think you're right, just crack on with getting it down to the ground and keep it sticker free ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) I actually lost one of the chrome slats on the drive home today so I think ill get a standard grill to replace the big star. the story behind the wheels is I have bought larger brake calipers and I wasn't sure if they would fit with 15's. so I ended up bidding on ebay and winning some 18's that I didnt want and I think will be too big anyway. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Out of interest, what brakes are you fitting? Are they a straight bolt-on?

I didnt even know there was such thing as sticker bombing nor that it was cool now till recent months. I have stickered my bus up over the years with stickers that are either funny/stupid or things that relate to me/my bus.

Out of interest, what brakes are you fitting? Are they a straight bolt-on? they are from a e320 w124, 4 pot fronts and 2 pot rear. the 2.6 master cylinder will cope with the w124 brakes as well.

Slam it to the deck, window tints, polished lip to the monoblocks and you're on for a winner. Elton John/drug dealer epic win!

Agree with all above, drop it first and sort the rest out from there. The right stance is Always the first thing to get done on my cars, in my opinion it makes the most difference. Plus it improves handling of course
