well, i cant identify most of them , i cant recognize maybe 20% of the cars on the pictures, but the two that really bother me are these two: Clue is in the number plate of the first one, it's a Renault 17 TL. The second one is a Ford P7 17M 'Taunus'. Thanks, that was really starting to bother me !

Hi Folks ! First off, sorry about the danish content... But immagine this: You inherit 100+ cars and then you have to sell them off because you don't have the time to take care of all of them... This is both the stuff of dreams and nightmares ^^ they're slowly selling them off (DAMMIT, why did i just buy a house...) and theres a couple in there i have some massive want for... Hope those interested in seeing what a collection like that is looking like wont mind the danish pages... A for sale ad with a few pictures and a video made from some danish retro cars guys is the best i can do... Link to video: www.viaretro.com/2015/08/manden-der-arvede-100-biler/Link to ad: postbiler.dk/products/?product=46cars i believe are in varius conditions ageing between 1935 to 1985, (including some never before seen models, atlest for me ) and a few pictures just to get you curius: What would you do with such a collection?

Nice work, love all the stuff you're doing, except neglecting to lower it! ;D The period stereo is always a nice touch, have you tought of modding an aux-in to it? Anything else done to the sound-system?

My first car, MK4 Escort XR3i. i had loads of fun i that old thing, had to give it up because i sudenly got a stupid idea of getting myself an education i never quite could forget that car... every once in a while i looked if it would have popped up for sale again.. it never did... atleast until recently that is its a mess these days, not one panel withouth dents, both bumpers broken and it looked like someone jumped arround on the hood. incredible what can happen in a couple of years !

Obviously a clever and very successful man. Slightly confuses me when a man like that wouldn't take a "risk" on an 80's 911 while happy to drive a Bently that has prob lost 50k in the last three years and likely still binning £500 pcm? Indeed I understand that I know nothing hence my very humble existence in comparison........without a Bently or a 911........but still....... I'm with you fella, confuses me too. He even said that the 911 is on the up. I think that as he has zero mechanical knowledge, the peace of mind of a new car sways him over a classic. Shame. Maybe he just havent thought about having 2 cars yet?

Ive been looking forward to a thread like this ! one of the first thing i did was swith to a modern stereo, but soon i got tired of the bright blue light and had some fun fitting the old stereo again ! i got the car with a Pioneer KE-4900 i killed the original 7 pin plug fitting the new stereo so had to smart up fitting the old again 8) with that done i hooked it all up to some kind of filter i never can remember the name of: which resulted in a old working stereo now with phono exits xD fitted it all again and had my fun with it. the result was mildly dissapointing, the filter newer worked properly due to the pioneer KE-4900 only having 3 wires to connect up the front speakers and no external radio antenna Sound was always a bit dodgy although not bad at all ! the conencted speakes, sub and amp i got for free so i have no high expectations for it, front door speakers is only midle tone while i got tiny diskant speakers (those tiny ones for high tones) hidden in the parcel shelf? in the back i got an amp + a sub for some loudness ! everything was good for a while until i got a bit bored with it again, so i fitted this little device which connect to my phone with bluetooth and hijacks a predetermined FM station on the stereo for some nice MP3 action ! (i can only connect the first 2 minutes the car is on, if i wanted a switch i could have installed the one that game with the gadget but i didnt want to make any holes in the car to fit it Future plans are alot like yours, get a highend old stereo, and some nice highed speakers and maybe a smaller more effective sub but then thats also about it for now 8) been looking for ages for the right stereo at the right price

I'm actually waiting patiently for the battery tech to get better 8) over here we got alot of tax going if we want to switch engines, while EV conversions are tax free the idea of EV + a few solars panel or similair is quite interesting !
