Modus operandi - if you don't have anything nice to say, keep scrolling. It's your car mate, if you like it thats all that matters, why not have a bit of fun with it

I was 11 or 12 when it was a thing I guess, but most I saw in person were always permanent WIP... like 1.1 205s with an R5 GTT body kit woodscrewed to it in perpetual primer, or hugely wide body kits with 13' steels hiding deep in the wells. Do miss seeing them now, just a sea of financed Audi/Vw/BMWs now with a pop and bang map, and the odd DSG fart.

I'm gutted tbh, it's put me off buying another unless there is a recent receipt for it, I want it repaired, I can get refurb injectors for 400 plus my old ones, so if I spend 1k on this or go spend 1k on another car that might blow up a week later... I want my mondeo back 🤣

Well its dead, coughed and gave the coil light of death on way to work yesterday. Seems the fuel pump has gone and taken the injectors with it. Brother towed it home with his E34 last night, but I think its the end for it, lot of money to spend on a car that's on 206k. Nowhere to break it either, so will more than likely be sold spares or repairs to a breaker. Just waiting for my mechanic to get back off holiday to price it up, all hinges on that really. I really liked this one as well. So back to the trusty Astra now.

Nice bus , I had a Titanium Gsi estate myself, along with 12 others of varying engines and shapes, really want another but they have all disappeared. Ph2 Gsi wheels are one of my all time favourite OE wheels.

My brother bought a Capri a year or 2 back, that was exported to Ireland then brought back and not declared, something the seller also failed to mention (he also got a logbook that turned out to be an old one). He sorted his, didn't have to pay anything, took nearly 10 months though as it was the start of lockdown so it is doable

So I saw some wheels I liked on Facebook and did a buy, Team Dynamics that I thought were a charcoalish black but turns out is actually a Carbon Fibre dip. I hate fake carbon but the colour is growing on me.

5mm I'd say is fine, anything more I'd go longer bolts. I've got 10mm on my my Astra with longer bolts, 5mm on my Saxo without.

You don't have to take the renewal if you tell them you won't be before the original policy finishes. There's also a new law which means they have to give existing customers the same offers and discounts as a new customer, my renewals have been very good this year because of this.

I never got the whole thing against the Vectra B, ive had loads and nearly all the engines, I know a few had the F18 chocolate box, and the 2.0 suffered cam and crank sensors but on the whole I thought they were a brilliant car for what they were, a family wagon. Clarkson had a lot to do with it as usual, seems the man can single handedly destroy a cars reputation with one curse word review.

Oh that's grim, when I was 18 I wrote off a pretty clean Sierra sliding off a roundabout that had been my grandads until 3 months prior for 5 years, the riot act he read me and the shock of what could have happened really hit home, I bought my Astra and started taking responsibility. 13 years on I still have it, glad he's OK Dan.
