Hi All,
A straightforward question, with seemingly no straightforward answer on the interweb
At what point does the fitment of wheel spacers require the fitment of extended bolts? From my quick measurements, current bolts are 24mm, and wheel will take up 11mm of that. What's the max. width wheel spacers I can safely fit without extended bolts?
For context I've a Mk2 Golf, but the new alloys (temporary indefinitely, in that they're the only set with road legal tyres) catch on the calipers. I won't be driving on these much, and when I do it'll be very cautiously, but evidently I need some spacers. I'm hoping 5mm will be sufficient, in which case I'm satisfied - but 10mm+ above leaves me unsure..
Cheers,
Rob
p.s. If anyone has any 4x100 spacers for sale near Horsham please DM me...!
