Thought I might put this up. Got a couple of things to do to it so it might be worth a thread. Picked this 1999 Vectra Estate up last week, it had a blowing exhaust joint which I've now sorted. Need to refurbish the wheels and a tiny bit of paint work on the boot lid and top of one of the doors. It's still got the original radio and cd changer, at some point in its life its ended up with gsi wheels and bumper and a tasty set of AP brakes       |

Good buy,
Never really considered a Vectra, especially the "plain" / "standard" estate but that is a really nice looking car,

and why not, gsi wheels and bumpers are some of the best looking in that period (in my opinion)

Nice bus  , I had a Titanium Gsi estate myself, along with 12 others of varying engines and shapes, really want another but they have all disappeared. Ph2 Gsi wheels are one of my all time favourite OE wheels. |

Had a T reg vectra estate, well wife did, I wasn’t allowed to mess about with it and it was a bit tedious. I don’t think it would have taken much to lift it and this pretty much proves it. The fact that you see very few left helps as well I guess |

Cheers for the responses guys, been driving about in it all afternoon with NOW 32 in the tape player and a couple of clubland cds in the changer, absolutely loving it! Will have to get my bum in gear and get stuff done and photod

They still look good especially a lowered estate, I've had a couple of GSi including a GSi estate which I should've kept. They got too much stick from Clarkson etal that ruined their reputation.

I seem to have a soft spot for these. I was never fond of the Vectra C estate as the rear was awfully flat and plain looking, I think this design has aged really well.

Great looking thing, lovely purchase. always liked the front bumper on them with the side vents. 10 years ago I'd probably not be drooling over a vectra but here I am!

Not too much to update, fitted a set of wind deflectors like I do to most of my cars. New set of tyres have turned up ready for the wheels to be refurbished

Great looking car, the vectra b is one of my favorite cars. We had a saloon with all the gsi bits even the gearknob hd been converted from auto to look like the manual version. Yours looks to be in lovely condition and youre very lucky to have the ap brakes.Good luck with her. What colour is that you have done your wheels?
