So I saw this picture, whilst looking for some more photos by Kevve : I really liked the look of the car and figured there must be some more photos of it. The Flickr image is tagged with Kevve, but I don't know if it his car. I tried Tineye to see if the image had been used in anyones build thread... but no dice. So I went back to the original flickr page for the image and checked the other tags, once of which was Eurosunday and another was Belgium. Aha! A quick bit of Googlising later and I get to find out about the Eurosunday show... A Flickr search for "EuroSunday Belgium" also found these : Someone loves their fisheye! .. It seems Speedhunters covered the event, which lead me to this nice shot of the car and the wider show : ... and that is how I go about finding images. There is certainly a thread in some of the stuff I saw from EuroSunday if someone wants to put one together and get insta-quality thread post, plenty of links from this thread could sort that out pretty quick smart So in conclusion, BMW E21 316 on air, looking gooooood

Very nice car, very clean and overall I like it (and I'm not a fan of BBS RS). I think the rear is a smidge too low when aired out though, too much difference between the front and back tuck. Raising it an inch or so and getting some rake would make it a huge winner for me.

Big fan of the E21 these days. That one though, just low for low sakes, I don't get it, we have some on here that show how a good stance on an E21 should be.

I think I saw that at Wörthersee, but I'm about 2000 pics away from getting that far with them all ;D

Rear camber is hideous, a crime, especially when it's so easily fixed. Oh, and also a repost, For The Record. Lets have some counterbalance in this thread. Much better.

Even as one that loves all things low I have to say that doesn't work.
too much tuck out back compared to the front. Wider dishes or barrels out back to add a bit of girth so that the arch sits on the tire sidewall rather than tucking the whole lot away.
Still very clean and potentially executed a bit better would be perfect

LOL the E21 bandwagon is hilarious now, same winges "do it the way that the E21 club says or its curse word" haha.
Green car and white car are completely different but equally awesome.

eh? What bandwagon? what E21 Club way? what you on about? Internal 'scene' politics I think. VW scene got like it a few years ago, basically there was a 'right' way and a 'wrong' way to modify certain cars, which ended up stifling creativity and things... it was all very boring. Luckily they snapped out of it, pretty much. Being on air means if it were mine I'd adjust the ride height a bit at the rear, and try and bring the front down a touch more (I guess there may be big metal physical reasons this can't be done though). As Amazo said this is Show low rather than built for speed, which I'm all good with, I know some people aren't, but then as per the MO I'm sure they will post up some racey E21s if they aren't keen on this I was hoping the thread might also help people find how to find stuff,.. like the fact you can take the picture Amazo posted, use Tineye.com and find out through following the Speedhunters feature car page that comes up that the owner of the white E21 also owns this lovely bit of kit :

I'm going to be making so much use of that, thanks! I've often spent far too long trying to track down a post or thread just from one photo - this will save me lots of time! ;D

Wind your neck in HotPants, remember, there is more than one way to skin a cat. Don't be so blinkered that dropping a car on the deck is the only way to do things. Most E21 owners like their cars to have a chance of going round a corner fast; sorry if that upsets you. MIBs car is a case in point: It isn't the lowest E21 in the world, but then it has to get over some pretty harsh speedhumps round where he lives and he like to take it on trackdays and give it some beans. Wouldn't want to do that with the green car, but then there is always more than one way of doing things. Whether I like the green car or not is of no consequence, I just have my own views on how an E21 should be done; I've only had three and are building a fourth, what do I know? Just acknowledge to yourself that there are people in this world that don't share your opinions and you'll be a better person for it. Would be a very boring world if we all thought the same way about cars. Jeez.LOL the E21 bandwagon is hilarious now, same winges "do it the way that the E21 club says or its curse word" haha. Does stealthstylz know that a troll is using his account?

Not liking a car on adjustable suspension for being too low, is akin to throwing away your dinner because it's too hot...

I like MIB's so much I took a photo and everything : IMG_3683 by RetroSceneMag, on Flickr You on the other hand can't seem to accept that people modify their cars for purely aesthetic reasons. You should probably acknowledge that there are people in this world that don't share your opinion on the right way to modify an E21, you'll be a better person for it.

I really like it and even though the front and rear arch to wheel distance is something I would normally hate, this is so extreme on the back, it makes it look like it has arches similar to a 100e or something and therefore looks ok rather than it just looking like it reverse rakes an inch or so.
I am not a fan of the seats though, completely goes against the whole cars look imo

To get the rear arches sitting the same as the front it would have to rake by a ridiculous amount!

I love E21's, and I love the ones built to go round corners and go fast, but I also love ones that are dropped on the deck just to look good. If you don't love E21's that are show-low post up some awesome E21's that are useable and i'll drool in equal measure. Matt
