or any of the Subaru’s will do 40mpg. Waffle. I have an 08 diesel Outback and I've got to really really thrash it to get it to display less than 40mpg. It usually hovers in the mid 40's during normal day to day stuff but put it on motorway and you can see high 50's. It does seem to check out too as the given range tallies up with the trip (which I zero on each fill up). There's a road near me, must be about 8 miles long, flat, no sharp corners, average speed of 50mph. With some gentle throttle I can get the screen to display 70mpg.

Only thing I can add here is an old photo of mine from Forza 4 on the Xbox 360. I used to race this R35 which I covered in dazzle

This. I saw this today. It may be the same as the pic (I was too busy taking it all in as we passed at 60mph) but there only seems to be two of them and I saw the mk1 Mondeo one. (pic found on Google) 259 Coaster Alamor RV (2004) by Robert Knight, on Flickr

XH558 sounds even better when it's at that height, with the wheels up just essentially on idle and then spools everything up, points its nose up and goes vertical in a surprisingly short space. Used to get it come over work, do a 15 minute show and then it was gone again til the next month. Whole industrial estate used to be outside to watch!

Brother in law and I once went (2009 I think?) on a lovely 750 mile round trip from York (Lot of mention of York in this thread) all the way to Tavistock in Devon and back again (in a day) in my '89 Bluebird to pick up a mk2 Ford Probe he'd bought by accident on eBay. Was knackered after but doable!

Never driven one of these but i have driven other makes of a similar age and they are slow, heavy controls, noisy but they put a big smile on your face!! Be very useful for shifting stuff as well! Is that referencing the trucks or the lady in the picture above your post?

Didn't most of them end up going off to South Africa? The 4x4 ones look awesome, are they factory or are they a Dangel modification like they did with the 505s?

Next time i may go for one like this. Do you think this would share the limits with cars? Other half has the Peugeot Expert version of that, as a van, with no windows, 3 seats up front, classed as N1. We have the same van (Citroen version) at work, and I've driven both vehicles at 70mph on dual carriage and nothing has ever happened. She's also got an '05 Mazda B2500, crewcab pick-up and I've looked at the V5 and that's on an N1 as well, I've also driven that at 70mph on dual with no ill effects so maybe there's other factors?

My other half has a 55 plate B2500 which is the same as the Ranger of that era which is the model before PistonPoppers above (In fact all Rangers were Mazdas as they were all built by them then Ford stuck their badge on) Doublecab 4x4. HI-LO selectable (in 2L it's RWD and yes you can kick the back end out easier than you'd think, not in the dry though) It has got about 206,000 miles on it, it's off the road at the moment because it's developed a top end knock which could be an injector. Need to sort that. We've been all over in it and it's never missed a beat. Regularly went to the Lake District in it (it's slightly battered appearance does cause the more 'traditional' tourists to move over and let you by, assuming you to be a local!) Chucked bikes on the back and been around places. It was unfazed by Hardknott Pass in the Lakes. Last Christmas spent a week in the Lakes then drove up for a week in Scotland. Drove from Galloway area to York (she's not keen on motorways so I drove) and it was fine averaging 70mph all the way. Strong engine, pulls well, scares town folk, doesn't fit so well in some parking spaces.

I think that you posted this on the wrong forum. I think you were looking for Barry Boys or something. Please post something cool. too tame for BarryBoys? their 'genre' would be Magpie Barry, anything shiny throw it on..... This. It's Magpie Barry to me too. I do like the red pinned wheels though

Made up to look like one of the Mad Max 2 cars! (Can't remember if it was with Hummungous but I don't think it belonged to the compound members)

Usually built by Tissier if I remember rightly? Those who did the mental stretched lowloader Citroens. I do remember seeing one, think it was an early Xantia outside an ambulance station in France.

If it's only around the 8mm ones, then just stick a block of copper or aluminium behind it and plug it up. Anything bigger, fill it with a washer, and then plug that hole up. Simple.

The Rangers of that shape we got in the UK aren't actually Fords. They're all Mazda B-series with different badges and grilles

because old cars are cool right? So is TIG welding and metal fabrication , yeah ! Nope, that's very very hot actually. Who is it on here, Daveyboy1 or something who has the matte black Mk3 Capri that's a bit Mad Max-esque? 'cause thats what it looks like they've copied with theirs. And quite blatantly too.

One of my friends found this in a car that he had bought... Yep, that is what it is, and it's carved out of wood so quite what good it is to anyone in anyones guess! What do you reckon you'll end up with if you glue a magnet to the back of it?
