Brilliant job on the graphics and wheels. love it!..... I tinted the bulbs in my gauge set with, ready? sharpie markers....my cars gauges have an orange glow to them...so I just tinted the Boschs with orange sharpie! I also tied the cluster in to the interior lighting wiring, so the gauges dim with the dash switch. as a side note, I actually like the moon covers on your wheels!.....

Cheers. Still undecided on wheels but swapping tyres at weekend so better come to a decision soon. I’m trying to spend twenty mins each evening after work sorting various little bits on the car as I’m hoping to have it mot-ed in the next couple of weeks. Tonight’s efforts mean my rev-counter lights up, and the stereo won’t drain the battery. Anyone got a dimmer switch? lower watt bulb or lag it in green paint to dim it down a bit. sure someone else will suggest a less low tec solution!

You based in sprowston? I pass this quite a lot - got a silver mk3 golf and black mk1 Yeah that’s me, unless there’s two around. There’s a few Mk1’s around locally, I quite fancy a mk3 to replace my old Megane.

I have a Polo sized hole on the drive way just a wee drop of oil to mark his patch. He’s gone for his MOT..........plus a couple of other jobs. My neighbours were hoping he’d been sold. They were slightly disappointed to hear he would be back.

Met up with the support van before heading out to Mammoth Mountain. Really Tesco car park, and random bay.

Back in the day, the BMC CDA used to be the dog danglies in cold air induction. I quite fancied the idea but without spending. I give you the Doombar PVC, a quick knock up and one stumbling block keg is full. Oh well the trials of life, the terrible things I have to do in the name of a hobby. Better get drinking!!

As it two years since Gilbert last went to a show I thought it was time to do another. Lots of bugs and wasps at the show, unfortunately one of them obscured the view when I took the picture.

I just realised I went to a show and didn’t even get a picture of my own car!! I did take this the night before whilst waiting for my daughter, I think I may change the complete look of the car over the winter, I just need to check to see if it hasn’t been done before.
