A 1.3 throttle body is what you want. Yeah but I had the 1.4 one wanted to see if it could work, sensor plug is different any way so idea is scrapped. At the moment going to fit it all in with a the 1.0 bits, and go from there. Get it running and then looking a swapping throttle and ecu. Can you remember if 1.3 ecu was a straight swap?

The 1.3 ecu is a straight swap but you will want to get the other 1.3 bits on as soon as possible, it will run on the 1 liter stuff but it wont' run correctly.

Fitted the spacers and longer bolts, and its close but I have wheels that go round! Took my youngest to football and had no issues. Fifth gear with the ski pole gear knob may been adjustment.

Been waiting for ages for my last two logos. The bigger ones I need, nine inches supposedly! They arrived today, Obviously, packaged by a bloke who's been telling his missus porkies!

Meeting my brothers in the city today, that will be a 996, Golf GTD, Mini Cooper and my filthy french tart. So I do what every self respecting person does clean the car, just not that one. That's more like it.

Being the warmest day of the year so far. I swapped my racks. And thought I'd head out to the mountainous regions of Norfolk. Got as far as Tesco realised there's curse word all hills let alone mountains in Norfolk. Picked up some flowers for Mothers Day and tootled off home.

Whoop, whoop got my full nine inches. Ok 8.5 but a missing half inch compared to 4 inches makes a hell of a difference.

Kept up my my 99p bids and now have my speaker pods for the rear parcel shelf. Will hopefully get some free time and chuck everything on or in the car.

Really have been neglecting this of late, holidays, life and house decorating! On the plus side my hallway & landing is now replastered and painted. I got as far as doing this. Then thought should I really do this, photo of the car in a previous post just after I cleaned it looked spot on. Maybe wider spacers out back and narrower tyres up front. I did have something in mind when I first got the car nearly a year ago, and let a £25 tat purchase blur what I wanted to do. So back to the start.

Speakers pods will stay! Went to fit an old Astrali steering wheel last night any ideas on steering wheel nut size I have a 22m socket, to small next size is 42mm to big somewhere in between then. This morning thought I have a go a setting a new average mpg record home to work as the schools are closed. 30 miles in a 16 year old 1.6 petrol Renault convertible. New record set.

That will be 24mm. Not keen on the horn push, size of the heads on inner bolts or grey centre but other than that it's ok!

Took the polo out into city this morning, did a detour took some photos. Looking good got home and puddle under car, undid the bonnet and expansion tank cap missing. I checked the fluid before I went. Must of forgot to put the cap back on. Went back on slower mode of transport to retrace path and hopefully find my missing cap. Didn't find cap, off to GSF in the morning if they are open.

I'm liking the bike. Very colourful. I don't look good in hi-vis jacket, so I prefer the bike to be hi-vis.
