We had a few teachers with cooler cars (this is 94-99)
PE teacher, e34 520i in white Science teacher, mk1 Golf Clipper in red Form tutor, Alfa GTV v6 (80's one, he said he liked the older ones as you could get them sideways)
That's it though

Think it's £2m here (Sheffield), we have about 20 approved contractors and can use others but more of a faff. Got fed up of people parking vans either side of my 7ft dropped kerb (if there wasn't a junction outside it would be impossible to get off the drive) so went through planning and now it's about 14ft 😂

Sad to see the tree incident! Red one looks very nice.
You forget how small they are though! Looks tiny next to a not very big mx5 lol

I'm rubbish at having time to clean my car's properly, I have loads of great products that are sadly still mostly in the packet (I blame schools being closed lol) But my guilty pleasure is watching Autoshine Blackpools deep clean videos, it's not so much detailing like the specific detailing guy's but something relaxing about watching some pure filth get turned into something that resembles a car you would sit in/drive. www.youtube.com/user/autoshineblackpool

Can’t believe we made it this far with no mention of the ep91 Starlet. A good one can be had for well under a grand and the world is your oyster for parts thanks to its Glanza counterpart Love these little things, my mum had one as a company car new in 98, the special edition 3dr Solida in blue. I put about 5k on it with L plates on in 4 months, absolutly thrashed it when I passed my test. Not this one, but this spec but new lol Still not expensive at all, most of the ones for sale are quite rust free as well. It's on my list of must buy, really need a massive garage lol

Now I haven't used them, but did consider it until my wife saw how much something was. But they are on FB and have been trading/importing cars for years. Spoke to them on email and they were very helpful. www.jdmauctionwatch.com/

Have you looked to see if any wrap materials are a close match? Be a quick and easy way to see if it looks right

Looking forward to seeing this progress, always liked the tu5 engines. They did do an alloy block tu5 as well but people seem to slag it off.

Are we talking daily or fun car? I'd be trying to find a 205 with a Mi-16 swap, have seen a couple in your budget in the last year. Might not be stupid fast in a straight line but would be a great overall package and 205's don't feel that relaxed at 120 don't know if there's something wrong with me or I'm getting sensible, but my daily is only fun in about 5 second bursts, after that you are into banned territory. Which kind of makes it less fun in my mind as driving at 2/10's all the time gets boring.
