Gents, I'm in need of a replacement combination valve/proportioning valve for my 92 ck1500 but a decent quality one are just not available and the OE part was discontinued years ago! Chinese versions are available but reports of fluid leaks are numerous. My truck has the rear wheel abs system so the standard valve requires no proportioning gubbins but if I was to remove this rear wheel abs, I would need the valve which includes the proportioning bit. It's worth asking here if anyone has a lead or indeed has one available! My truck: Generic image:

I'm a tad far to attend but I can vouch for the team putting this event together. Great bunch of family friendly folk and a diverse bunch of wheels too!

LPG help needed!!!brachunky

Did you ever get the four lights on at once resolved? I have four lights on and not staying on LPG? I think the tank is full........fuller than normal and wonder if it is overpressurised or has a lockout valve to stop the flow? I also recently changed all the filters but believe it is a supply issue as the symptoms got worse and worse until it won't switch over...........in fact sure there is a supply issue. What do you guys think? This thread is from 2013 so don't know who is still genned up on the subject. However, there is clearly a renewed interest/revival on the subject due to current prices!

MAX POWER!brachunky

Same statements apply for me to 40s/50s/60s classics though. I'm glad its resurging again as its the time now when 80s/90s kids have a few disposable quid to indulge in their childhood memories reading FC.UK /Max/Redline etc and the base cars are rare enough to be an unusual sight on their owe ( last time you saw a mk1 Punto in the wild anyone?. This to me has been the trigger comment so far, whatever scene, fad, call it what you wish, for many it boils down to nostalgia. When we look back at cars, we are often (with failing memories of all the tat bodges) taken back to the good times in our lives. When I were but a lad type of scenario We may cringe & wince but all metal classics and plastic fantastic Max Power are part of our memories which each one of us has in some shape or form. It's all good is some way or other!

This morning in torrential rain and after an overnight rear caliper split and rebuild my insect passed mot with no advisories, despite me only being able to get first and second gear… Sorted back at home, behind a cover linkages were a bit discombobulated. 😁 There's something very satisfying about a fresh, no advisories MOT! Good result

FM transmitter thingybrachunky

What is the best FM transmitter that plugs in the ciggy / PTO socket that will play a memory stick please ? Thanks in advance for all help Chris I don't know what your expectations are from these fm transmitters but can offer this opinion if interested! They do provide a solution when coupled to a half decent head unit but the sound quality, although mostly clear, lacks any form of depth, richness and musical excitement. In other words very bland and I have tried numerous different models when looking for a solution to use with the 'ol LS400. They work but don't hold yer breath!

Any colour similar to Kwak green is a big yes from me The car is meant for fun and craziness so a suitable colour is a must!

I suppose its whether you are looking for garage solutions or mobile as you seem to be. If mobile, the Halfords shout is good although I suspect you don't want/need to buy tools, just find a better way of keeping them.

Really saddened although I sold the Corsa pickup. A good friend bought this wee pickup from me when I bought the F100 as I couldn't keep both trucks due to space back in 2019. He loved it's UK uniqueness and insisted he bought it so I gave him a very fair price & he took it. Since then it has stood in his garden like an ornament going mucky green. The reality is that these used to rust quite easily and I have no doubt the rot has begun. Being grownup, one should just let it go as it ain't yours anymore but seeing it unloved and deteriorating unnecessarily really gets to me. Weird post but I think there are many ex owners who see this happening. Oh boy do I know this feeling. Here's my Honda Legend sitting pretty at the Weekender in 2018 That's one helluva failure list! Very sad especially if you had really cared for it

I think I will probably take a punt on it and as Dez said, they are not trying to portray themselves as an eternal fix for rust and come across quite credible
