My local car club (Coffee n Cars) is putting on their second show (last one was in 2019 - then the 'rona struck and all plans were cancelled!) at Moorgreen near Eastwood in Nottinghamshire (NG16 3QS). It's a full weekend show with camping - day tickets are also available. There is live music, vendors selling all sorts of stuff, kids rides, a tattoo artist, trophies for various categories, showground cruise etc. We're hoping to get a Spitfire engine on at least one of the days, and there will be a bunch of military vehicles there too. It's primarily American and Classic/Retro cars, but pretty much anything interesting and different won't be out of place The usual sensible guidelines along the lines of don't drive like a dick, don't sit there revving the tits off your engine and 2-stepping/turbo popping etc. at all hours apply! Can't make this event as I have other plans, but the local club sounds interesting, I'm down in NG11 but not that far, right?

I'm a tad far to attend but I can vouch for the team putting this event together. Great bunch of family friendly folk and a diverse bunch of wheels too!

Not that far at all - we've got a page on Facebook (if you do Facebook!) - Coffee N Cars Public - Coffee N Cars. There's actually a breakfast meet this Sunday if you're interested - generally turning up between 8 and 9 at The Holly Tree Farm pub (NG8 6PZ), wandering round for a bit before heading in for breakfast. Then back out to potter about and then wander off home. There's members all over the place, the main man who does most of the organising lives out Mansfield way and we've got folks that turn up from all over Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire. We've also got a 'American and Classic car and bike' show at Heage Windmill on 3rd July from 10am - totally free to enter. There's usually a small bric-a-brac/autojumble area (proceeds to the upkeep of the mill) and it normally gets very busy, especially if the weather is good. Nice photo op in front of the windmill too!
