tell him to call the rac and get them to tow him home.
if you wrote out a receipt and he has taken it and long gone thats that. he checked the car over or he didnt, thats his fault if he didnt... so you held your part of the deal and the deal was done.
sounds like he probably got a touch of buyers remorse on the way back or an angry phone call from his wife about another car and is taking his chances with you.
besides if he cant be bothered to even look at it why should you bother to drive out at your expense and tow him home then give a refund?
leave him to it, since he was rude to you.

nice one well done!
out of interest, did you take out the liability insurance due to the bees wax and allergies? i'm curious as i am trying to get a set of products going and am now wondering if this is a prerequisite, although what i am doing is not anything you could be allergic to.

you certainly could do that, but no amount of filters will make it happen. like i say, lots of skill and technique goes into illustration like that. it would be using lots of pen tool and filling spaces with block colour. the whole thing looks like it would then have been blurred to removed the cleanness which would make it look as though it was a modern render. there are people on here which have done similar things with car photos. theres a thread on here about it somewhere.
it is possible in photoshop, give it a go, get drawing!

throwing a filter over a photo, isnt in my opinion art, its pretty lazy, no offence intended - its just one of those the cliche things with photoshop. its modifying a photo someone else took.
you could defo make art using photoshop though. requires quite a lot of skill

i made one of these bottle slides when i was a wee nipper with my dad using the grinder method.
something i realised pretty quick, you need a bottle neck with a flat edged neck to sit against all the strings. so that green one would be best the others you may be pressing down some strings and not others.
they would be fine for a diddly bow but more than 3 strings might be a bit hit and miss

digital is certainly more convenient but beyond that its debatable. its not either or for me, i use both since they both have their own qualities and uses.

heres a quick lesson.
the higher up the neck you play, the sounds are lower, and the closer to the body you go it gets higher.
just the strings down around places on the neck, make sounds with it and start to understand how it works. don't try to make any recognisable tune out of it, just make noise. trust me, youll get to grips with it pretty quick.
I'm going to make a diddley bow after seeing these - really got into the idea!

i would defo use film. its not like it would cost you much and i don't know if anyone does hdr with film yet/already? i would set up the shot with your digital camera then once you find a shot worth doing use your film camera for it to take the proper shot. so yeah, get it developed and scanned to cd, get a high res scan if possible, asda scans are a bit poor usually so maybe try a photo lab if you have any nearby - my local one does it £3.99 and can have it ready in 20mins if youre matey with them. you get much nicer depth with film so you might get something really cool with hdr on film. ok on looking it has been done but it took a bit of searching for it, looks cool though, www.flickr.com/photos/30797556@N08/5095688962/
