Off to pick up a servo tomorrow eBay sellers are still proving to be in general curse word Why advertise complete cars breaking then not bother replying to messages? Just frustrating and these are supposed to be established eBay sellers I know what you mean Dan, I've messaged various sellers with mk3 Adtras and Mondeos advertised as breaking, not a reply from around 12 enquiries. Seems if you're not taking away 99% of it in one go they cant be arsed.

If you can do some or all yourself, keep it, there isnt many left. They hit the low value ages ago and are creeping back up as they get rare, how many of these got canned for the engines to go in Novas and Corsas? That being said, pull the skirts off, if the sills don't come off with them it cant be that bad.

I used to use a guy who was friendly enough, helped with the emissions if it was struggling, passed it with blown bulbs as long as I came back before he closed to show I'd changed them etc, nice chap, but then he passed my brothers car with leaky calipers and a shot lower arm, don't know if he thought he was doing me a favour or genuinely missed them but it worried me enough to start going somewhere else. I like to think I'm on top of my car but if it needs to fail I want it to fail, I've got kids and it needs to be tip top.
Mot checks, if I'm buying a car I'll do them, but since the most I've ever spent on a car is 600 quid, I'm not worried if it needs work as I'll try do it myself, I've never had the budget for a top end example of whatever I'm buying so I usualy buy a scruffy one (enter my Mondeo) and plug away at it bit by bit.

Haven't seen one of these in the flesh for years, was having my break in Anglesey a week or so ago and a guy in a mk2 Cav pulled up, we got chatting and he told me he had a few other cars, if I passed his road while delivering then I should take a look... he had a couple of mk2 Cav convertibles and a Hutchinson? Nova convertible, based on a 2 door saloon, nice chap and motors. Didnt take pics out of respect, he was nice enough to give me the time of day. Get a few whilst delivering where a vague mention of "Nice car" or "Not seen one of them in a while" gets you a barage of abuse like it's not for sale, I know what it's worth or the worst one - I know who to see if it goes missing then, like I'm going to steal it.

They're 20", I have an abnormally tall 7 year old, she did have one with 18" wheels but seat was at its max adjustment. I wouldn't bother with the 18", in less than a year it's become useless, theres plenty of adjustment in handle bars and seat to fit a 7 year old.

Sport or GSi seats bolt straight in, as do Cavalier and Calibra (nice leather in a Calibra) if you swap the sub frames over. My GSi seats are hands down the comfiest seats I've ever had, Scotland and back from North Wales no issues.

My brother is well into his BMXing and my 7 year old daughter wanted to see what it was like, so I got her a cheap bmx from the tip, did it up and she finally got a chance on a deserted skate park (my bro was already there) to have a go. Turns out shes a bit of a natural, so the cheap crappy bmx wont last long, I've bought a cheap local one off facebook so I can take her myself when its empty as our exercise. Used to do it ages ago but was a good laugh the other day so might get back into it.

I've just ebayed a broken washing machine and tumble dryer I'd normally take to the tip, but being closed I wanted them gone, some person has just given me 25 quid to take them away, lessons learnt for the future here me thinks. Also sold 2 Xbox 360s that were broke, theyve just paid for a new one for the daughter.

I gave up routing a while ago, stock never seems to get replenished. That being said I picked up part of the Olympics 2020 set (Japan) on the basis that there isn't going to be a 2020 Olympics, which is a bit sad.

Not a Sport, but I had 3 of them. A 1.0 Dimension with absolutely nothing wrong with it for 80 from.the scrappers, one someone rolled in the backs I used for spares and this 1.1 Echo, that ate 3 gearboxes in 6 months. Affectionately named Toilet, thanks to the plate.

My work experience was the same, one big barrel, 60k car or 20 year old truck, same oil. Guy I use will only use manufacturer's recommended oil, tells the customer up front it may be pricey, if they want it cheap he tells them to find someone else. Hes got barrels and bottles of everything in his garage.

This may seem a daft question, but have you guys got a link to the drill bit or whatever you're using to drill the rivets holding them together? Nothing in my drill arsenal seems to touch them, they're probably blunt but since this is the only thing I'm likely to use my drill for I'd like to buy the right bit.

I gave my JJRC to my daughter who predictably used it until the battery ran down then clean forgot about it, I've been on holiday this week and sorted the garden out, so got it on charge now for a little play on the hard soil later.
