Todays job was to remove the old inner wing and start fixing the foot well. Not much to show for the time but have banished the last of the filler.

Had an attempt at repairing the side of the footwell, principle was fine but metal just too thin, and after chasing holes cut it out and will need another repair patch.

Todays plan was to fit the offside front quarter. Spent quite some time fettling it as the front body mount simply did not line up when the measurements were right. Eventually drilled out some of the spot welds to allow the shape to be modified and it now fits. It needs minor repairs as despite being relatively new it is already on its second vehicle and suffered some damage being removed.

Finished the footwell. There are a whole load of overlapping panels and so made a couple of pieces, its not quite factory but the various pieces fit nicely. Sill end cap and floor support now in as well. .

Now on the rear wing, earlier comment about no more filler a bit premature. More poor quality repairs to the rear wheelarch, and another tacked patched covered in filler. At least the base of the c post is intact on this side.

looking good, when I did mine I took a similar approach, in some areas I did away with the original seams altogether(figured they were where most of the rust seemed to have started) and in others had to add new ones rather than cut good metal out. I had one further advantage over yours, being older the entire structure door shuts etc is all just painted matt black so virtually no re-finishing to worry about either.
P.S. In case you haven't noticed on the rh side the plastic fuel line is just behind where your rear wheel arch is rusted!

Well the idea of using a discovery boot panel seems to work ok. Fit needs to be improved but the fuel filler is in the right place and it replaces a really grotty bit.

Boot floor welded, wheel arch repaired at the side, the rear edge has all but disappeared, will need to reconstruct as i want to have mudflaps and they bolt on the missing bit. Part way through replacing the seat belt mount, which was completely the wrong radius despite being an alleged fit.

Seat belt done, outer edge of the wheel arch done. Before replacing the edge i slit the rotten edge but did not remove it as it kept the profile i needed to copy, and i can now remove it without cutting into my new bit. Last photo is looking up into the c post before replacing the inner arch edge, fortunately only minor surface corrosion this side. The outer wheel arch is then tied into the c post base and the inner wheelarch. Now need to determine how best to make a curved L shape to replace the inner wing bottom, as i do not have a stretcher tool.

For the flange part I usually fold a straight length the bash one flange with a bull pein hammer to stretch it, or just cut a flat piece out, hbutt weld in the corner and do away with the rust trap spot welded joint altogether.

Replaced the arch this afternoon. Slotted the flange to alliw it to be folded and then welded the slots up. I may have created a bigger rust trap than landrover did, so hope seam sealer paint and wax will make up for it. Some thought is needed for the fuel filler bit. The filler pipe does not seem to get that close so there is room for simplification.

Filler neck completed. Not the prettiest work, but far better than what was there before. Next up another chassis hole, fingers crossed this does not get any worse, the photo shows post screwdriver poke, a peer into the depths suggests it has not gone as bad as the other side.

Thought this was the last of the chassis rust, but a good poke around the bump stop mount suggests all is not well, so at the very least i need a new bump stop mount, which fortunately are available and cheap. Final surprise, on removing the spring to get at this rust the axle spring mount is toast.

No progress but given the service and quality from yrm thought i would give them a thumbs up. Axle bracket and bump stop arrived today.
