Been busy fitting the last of the insulation, gable over far end is now completed.  I had some left over so I covered the roof above the infra red heater;  Started to fit the new door bolts, girly size bolts on right, proper man size bolts on left   and the car finally comes home for some TLC before the NEC show next weekend.  |

Today started with car washing duties, first the Pop, then my Mondeo and then Cat's Astra. After that I painted the side door of the garage as it was sunny and a bit windy. Not long after painting it there was a sudden rainstorm  but amazingly even though the (water based) paint looked funny with all the rain on it, it dried out ok and is fine Then more putting up wallboards, painting (again) and putting a few more plug sockets in. Some important bits start to go back in as well;  Then I spent some time putting new window decals on the Pop. |

Pete, it's not overlooked but I will probably buy some stickyback plastic obscure sheet for the side window, the end windows - nearest building is behind trees and 200 metres away.

Garage door stays. These are really good for holding the doors open, they fit on like this;  And hold the doors open like this. Just pull the string to release.  |

Definitely got garage envy now! Really get a feel for the size from photos with the car inside! Looks great and plenty room for working, giving me a big list of must haves for a future garage  |

No progress for a few days as I was exhibiting at the NEC. Back home now and it's a bit exciting! Tools are going back up on toolboards. Original toolboards have been a bit organic in what tools went where, now I have a big amount of tools I'm having to think properly as to what tools go where.   |

You'll definitely have to wipe everything down now, with those fancy extra white toolboards! My only concern is that you have so much space that you have to actually reach for tools now.  |
