(B)NMAC The Club of clubs

Well only on the Sunday. Personally I'll be in the mud up to that point., and I reckon most others will be. One thing I won't be doing is whipping out my Halfords car cleaning kit to remove the mud for display purposes. I'm counting on ot to mask the shoddy paint.

How long is your rope?

Boys, you've got the Goddess on stand (if the Old Truck Gods smile on me). 440 ft lbs of Cummins torque, 4WD and a 12,000 pound winch. We won't get stuck but it will be like the Somme after I pull you all out (ooerr missus )

Oooh, yeah, he doesn't sound like any sort of a friend at all. You should bring him along. What's he got?

(what's he got car-wise I mean, not in terms of afflictions. We already know he's a clod-handed sociopath with no capacity for empathy)

Haven't received tickets yet. Thought that might just be HoTWire punishing me for being stupid.

I'll book one of my stand passes for Ada when he takes hold of the car and lets me know the reg then. He's the perfect candidate for a sociopath, being a paramedic and all. Like I often have to remind him "you kill people every day" (^tm Shallow Grave)

Tickets will be out later in April. If your local guy has them already that is pretty impressive as we're just about to send the design off to print

Another call for anyone wishing to show their ride at RetroRides Goodwood Weekender. May 18th.

Details are as follows. There are still a couple of spaces left on the BNMAC stand for anyone with a vehicle to show but no club to show it with.

Retro Rides Weekender will be here sooner than you realise. We're getting club passes, tickets and all that printed up in the next couple of weeks and starting to lay out the show in detail.

To join a club/display stand:

1) Grab an event ticket here : store.retro-rides.org/collections/retro-rides-weekender

2) Note your order number

3) PM @quatermass with a request for a display slot on the BNMAC stand, with a brief description (including age) of your vehicle

4) receive the BNMAC club number from Quatermass

5) Then fill out a Car Entry form : retroridesevents.com/CarEntry/gfc5y3btof4

That's it, that's all you gave to do. Easy as 1,2,3 ( +4 and 5) and you'll be booked in. All club stand car entries need a corresponding ticket purchase as we send the club passes with the ticket and every car in the show has to be pre-booked to the venue.

One or t'other. We're not far off the full quota but I'd lime to make sure anyone who has a retro ride but no club to show with can take advantage of BNMAC's hospitality suite. We've got R.Kelly, Rolf Harris and Louis CK in the VIP enclosure.
