12 years ago I had a Suzuki Cappuccino, which ended like this:
Because it looked like this when i investigated the little bit of rust I saw:
I didn't own it long, and I know i should've looked better when buying, but I didn't. Learning money, as we say in Dutch.
The longing for a Cappuccino never went away, the prices for them definetely did, sadly.
Recently the Cappuccino came back in to my memory again, and I started looking for them again, and found this car for sale in the Netherlands.
Within budget and ready to go (1,5 years of MoT left on it).
The seller was very honest about the car, it's errors and it's good points.
Paintwork is shot, but the body is very rustfree for one (and believe me, i know where to look and i did look!
).
And also some minor technical issues, which don't scare me as much as the rot does.
Drove it around today, on a very nice sunny day and i'm very happy with it!
Apart from the few little issues, it's a very good and honest car. Fun to drive!
It's mostly stock, with some minor changes to it. And a fugly bonnet and rear wing.
i will try to swap those out for some stock panels.
And the red on the wheels and the callipers has to go, i don't like it.
