It's been busy here - a new project has arrived........... Check the Avenger Tiger Thread....
With the engine out i can finish the wiring off as much as possible before it goes off for paint.
First was to finish off the fan and fuel pump wiring and get that through the bulkhead. Passed all the wiring through some expanding loom stuff and then fitted a 3 way DT bulkhead plug.

Should look a bit nicer when painted and all the wiring and pipes dressed in

Then to wiring up the ECU, Fuse Box and Main Relay. On the original Rocketeer MX5 loom the Main Relay switches a feed that is picked up from the alternator. I had decided not to use that and feed direct from the battery as i needed a feed for the fans and fuel pumps. So i rewired it slightly. The main feed is switched direct from the battery now and the original feed isn't used. However, i did notice that the loom provides the ECU with 2 feeds from the live side i.e. the wire i am not using, so i needed to add in that as well.
Now redundant feed.

Tanged Metri Pak 280 that turn out to not quite fit, it needs non tanged 280!!!!. But enough that it works...........

And whilst i was wiring everything up i noticed the ignition switch doesn't work any more. A replacement from a Land Rover Defender works and fits.
