When you think of e-type's, you think of old bufty merchants with flat caps and real ale... 'Yes, took me 400 years to polish up those wires' (etc). However this just smashes all other E-types. Period. This has got to be as close to automotive nirvana as you can get. don't know if this link will workthis willMakes me want to break the habit of a lifetime, and actually get a 'lucky dip' Lotto swindle voucher.

Ooooooofffffff!!!!!! ;D I bet they are hated a bit by the purists Probably not, since it was built by Lynx & is now being sold by Duncan Hamilton, both of whom are mainstream old Jag / classic car specialists. Also, it started life as a Series 3 (V12) so not the most sought after in standard form.

Duncan Hamilton.... was an amazing place. I was best friends with Adrian Hamilton's son at my last school and I got to look round a lot of his barns. It was the most amazing place I've ever seen, Maclaren F1 next to Mini Moke next to Ferrari 250LM next to BMW M5. I really was like a little boy in a sweet shop. Wish I was still friends with him cause I'd love to see that Jag in the flesh!

Jeezus. No pleasing some people, huh! I just thought it was ianteresting because it tipped the whole e-type 'thing' on it's head, and also incorporated a hella lot of touches that we would like. Oh and Dazmax.... let me know how you could professionally build one lie that to that spec 'on the cheap'

Cant say I exactly dislike standard E-types - even if they are usually the subject of retirement cards, more often than not in a collage of photos with a pair of leather gloves, some golf clubs, an old pocket watch and a steam train. But this f*cking thing puts just about everything on the planet to shame, always liked the later "heavy" ones anyway and this shows just how good they can look.

Is that blue one an Executive or a Zodiac? Love these as well. On my list.

S'gotta be an early fixed head coupe for me. The late V12's remind me of the Raymond Loewy designed studebaker coupe...take one beautiful uncluttered design masterpiece and feck it up with stupid chrome grilles and stuff
