1) Get my brother to finish rebuilding the engine for my Sprite. 2) Install engine & get it all running. 3) MOT (fingers crossed). 4) Put Sprite up for sale , irrelevant of MOT pass. If it passes, great (& the price will be higher . If not, at least I have the fail sheet.....

Nothing compared to what you guys have going on! BMW e21 1) Fit spax lowering shocks/springs, fit new bushes too.
2) Weld up the jacking points/sills (massive holes in floorpan).
3) Source some spacers and fit ATS wheels, get them rubbered too.
4) Swap off double headlights for single ones, replace steering wheel with original sports wheel.
5) Sort paint on wing repairs and hammerite underside.
6) Fit stereo (fund allowing!)
Range Rover (offroader)
1) Find why it fried its last battery and fix.

1) Drive the Octavia. 2) Check the oil 3) Check the Coolant 4) Check the washers 5) Check the tyres 6) Drive the Octavia 7) Get it MOTd in January.
Boring and curse word I know, but with being made redundant twice, having a mother diagnosed with advanced soft tissue cancer and getting 4pound tumour removed from her leg, only for it to re-grow back the same size in 4 weeks, and (me) have a slight "bi-polar" incident earlier in the year when I quit smoking, it hasn't been a good year. And a bit of boring stability might be a good thing.
Have had a job offer but it doesn't start until beginning of December, and means a 40 each way trip into Blackburn every day. But the money is good and the guy has a solid financial background, so he shouldn't be another flybynight like the last bloke who took me on only to have wage cheques bounce after 2.5 months.
Who know, we might win the Eurolottery tonight, and I can buy a place in the country, make a living selling homemade soups and chutneys/pickles, delivered to the local market in a distinctive retro van, while having a full workshop in the barn.
Some of this may be easier to achieve than others (I make soup regularly).

I'm planning to get tony over one day soon to help me fit the new door on the micra, then there the stereo and cd changer to fit in the new astra when thats running (its refusing to let go of its bottom pulley atm!) then on the micra i just have the sills to clean up, prime and stonechip may also attempt to sort the scabs on the front and rear arches before they get too bad, I'm still looking for some 14in steels or alloys for the micra too! but the 13s can stay on there now for the winter, ill probarbly put new brake pads in it too soon aswell, i havent checked them for a while now!

I'm going to sell virtually everything I own, then leave the country with a laptop and a camera. Scouring the earth for the coolest retro finds ;D Well I've sold/given away virtually everything I own, from a house to a hatstand. I've kept my cars of course The laptop is loaded, it's a big world out there and I'm leaving Tuesday morning sharpish. I don't think it's worthy of a thread on it's own, but thought it might be nice to dig this one up and see how everybody is getting on... Updates? Oh, and adios

Keep us updated on your exploits Bryn! Good luck.
As for me, blimey is it spring already? I sold a good car (yellow 240K), bought a good car (323), sold it, bought another one (Accord) and got the exhaust done on the 240K so I can use it again. Also added lots of brochures and magazines to the piles here.

Amm, sell this : or get do those mucky advanced jobs on it, cam belt, clutch investigation. Gulp! ;D And a bit o styling; new red door and window make the body one colour, take a bit o weight/clutter out. Get those OZ's fitted up with nice new rubber. then what ever I can afford... Dabble with this: Try get it going, and winterproof known worry rot...somehow unrealistically: get it MOT'd and lowered too, hmm we'll see. ;D Not leaving much time/£ for the 3 door but i'm gonna plod on there too. plus loads of other stuff! Bloody hell time is flying isnt it! As peeps will know recent time has been filled up with getting a new MR2! and getting the daily driver retaxed MOT'd and tidy for sale! Learnt/brushed up some skills that will come in useful for the above jobs, got two days off this week, so that should see the sapph tidying complete and the original MR2 tidied ready for its second summer! Only got as far as investigating and cleaning rust spots on the 'Tina so far, servce kit ready to fit... updates coming in readers rides soon. GOOD LUCK BRYN, keep us posted with your adventures. what vehicle have you decided to take in the end?

GOOD LUCK BRYN, keep us posted with your adventures. what vehicle have you decided to take in the end? Cheers bud, headed off to Europe in the Volvo to start with, it'll probably end up getting mothballed in France. Then I hope to be back here for some of June and August so I'm going to finish the respray on the BMW before a sale in Summer, and try to get the buggy mobile if time allows... Got a pretty hectic schedule lined up, with some fantastic opportunities coming my way. I'll be at the RR show fo sho tho.

Good luck with everything Bryn, an adios thread was entirely worthy imho though. Be sure to keep us updated with pics of your adventures!
I'm in the process of doing that now, so in theory this will be done before the clocks move
well ive now decided the benz is going, so the above isn't really relevant
that hasnt happened, but there are alternative plans in the pipeline which will produce the same end result
the barn was cleared out, and the NC30 is in there and work has began. So I'm 50% there. This will be focused on once the 411 has a ticket.
All in all, i havent done as awefully as i thought
