Hmm.... - Finish body 'additions' - Re-do wag in rear arch as it's coming apart at the seams - Re-fit headlamp trim (as for some reason it keeps popping loose) - Tidy interior modifications - Fit rev counter, oil pressure, oil temperature and both ancillery vacuum gauges - Modify the induction somehow - Would like a sports exhaust fitted, side exit? - Polish and fit Wolfrace wheels, as they're the same size as the originals so I still retain all the 'fun' - Sort knocking in column and fit Rally Design intermediate UJ - Uprate in general... - DECAL UP Got a load of misc. tuning bits to put on the engine - ignition system, ram pipes, oil cooler & thermostat, additional oil to rocker flow pipe, coil. Even quite tempted to fit a fast road cam in it. And yes....going to put my 3" lower springs on ....the ones that came off STM, because I have no reason not to with this one ;D

Dabble with this: Try get it going, and winterproof known worry rot...somehow unrealistically: get it MOT'd and lowered too, hmm we'll see. ;D Not leaving much time/£ for the 3 door but i'm gonna plod on there too. plus loads of other stuff!

the forums seemed a little slow recently, and with winter now fast approaching it seems an ideal time to discuss what lies ahead for the cold months. Ive got an anti roll bar mount to repair/fabricate for the 411 and then stick her back through the mot. The benz might now be kept. Ive got my eye on some borbet A's and maybe a new interior, plus a stereo. Luxury - but cool - mile muncher is what I'm after. Very soon Tashas racecar will find its way to the storage barn, and her yellow bug will take its place. That will have a few niggles sorted out so it is ready for next year. Crossing my fingers it doesnt need too much welding! And then the barn at our house is being properly cleared out and my Honda NC30 will enter it to be stripped down and rebuilt for next summer. What do you mean, winter projects? They're all next week's jobs!

They're all next week's jobs! lmfao, you're right actually! I'm hoping to get the racecar moved this sat (if the benz gets an mot tomorrow) then the 411 can go on the hardstanding and be done and the stereo for the benz was won on ebay this morning! then I'm free to get the bike in the barn and get myself back on 2 wheels!

1 Well for me first off ought to be to get some work done and start getting money in for a project I've been doing for the last six months which will help fund next years plans... 2 Car priority is to keep the Herald going so Katie can get to work. Just had a new fuel pump and battery this week. 3 Sort out the Cosmics so they can go on the Herald next year. 4 Do the disc brake conversion and front suspension mods to the Oxford so that it is a roller next year when it will be treated to some bodywork (see 1). 5 Build a silly bicycle for fun at next years shows.

Hmm... my plans are to sell or swap the Sprinter, if that fails I'll put it in storage for the winter. Then I'll sit in my tiny apartment, reading a book will silently being jealous of people with garages, tools, mechanical talent etc... I vow to read some books about mechanics and how stuff works though.

My Fastback!! Inside: Get dashboard finished, it's mostly wired but needs tacho and plastic fittings, and painting. Carpet. Porsche 924 seats fitted - retrimming can wait. Got a Scat shifter in the loft to fit as the current lever has acres of play and won't go into R. Outside: Make it all the same colour. Not to keen on primer over the winter but might have to be, unless I get a shift on and get some topcoat on it. Still needs flatting and some dings seeing too though. Door window lifters need sorting, the wedge of wood isn't satisfactory. Also could do with new window scrapers. Got some proper T3 front indicators to replace the teardrop ones on the flipfront so some firebreglassing is in order. Source a rear bumper and irons. Fit wheels, might need some new tyres on front as they've been stood up in storage and have gone flat. Engine: Just tune the twin carbs really..... need to find out what they are! Investigate small oil leak but it looks like pushrod tubes so might get put off a while

I think this is going to depress me, but here goes: 1 - Get the Audi Q on the road 2 - Sell No1 Scirocco 3 - Sort out boost problem so can sell wife's Volvo 4 - Sell wife's Volvo 5 - Convince wife she wants something more interesting than her Mum's mk3 Astra and buy it 6 - Really sort out the absolute curse word-hole that is my garage 7 - Transport to curse word-hole and strip down Audi 16v 8 - Get bloody Midget back on the road 9 - Combine bits of above Audi, a pile of parts and No2 Scirocco into a trackrat 10 - Solve the Middle East crisis Knowing me and cars and motivation, No.10 could turn out to be the most simple...

Plan is to get the rat capri engine finished and the concentrate on the new 2.8 capri i've just bought. Is pretty solid but needs a good two months work done to it. Hopefully it'll be running strong for the next pod season. *looks at next-door neighbours Cosworth equipped scorpio* Should probably get the viva down here and make a start on getting an engine in the bay even if not the V8 for now.

buy 1970s leyland atlantean double decker bus. refurb ally panelling where required. overhaul the engine. strip the seats out. then... paint it metalflake green. try to aquire some blinged up wheels or trims. downstairs, fit some lazyboy armchairs, leather couches,a mini bar for the guests, mahoosive plasma tellys, dvd players and games consoles. upstairs, make 2 bedrooms, a little kitchen and a luxurious living area. of course this all depends on whether the euro lotto comes up. ;D otherwise il be giving the 230 some bodywork love.
