They've got a big band in looking at how much stretch they've got. Van looks wicked.

Ive always loved this shape of transit, theres just so much potential with them whilst stil remaining practical. Id love to do exactly what youve done but shoe horn a bigger diesel engine into it, something like a big diesel v8 out of a ford explorer (i think thats what it is) then slap a set of turbo's on it and go hunting

thanks for the kind comments lads.. I love driving it, get reactions everywhere.. ok, the wheels managed to find some without the holes on the face, then off to James.. tyre wise their 195/60 fronts, 205/60 rears.. to lowering it I wanted to avoid heating springs etc.. so I sourced another axle, then set about altering it to run on the springs rather then below them.. cleaned and treated.. mount removed.. welded.. all fab'd and zinked ready for paint.. painted, new shoes cylinders pipes etc... fitted.. it was just a little too low, so using Bruce's idea with adjustable spring hangers, they worked a treat.. fronts 2.5 coils off the standard springs the over all plan is to convert it to a camper.. I'll update on that all later.. oh, very poor standard picture even just see some of the old graphics glue haha

Liking this very much!
Proof again, as if it were needed, that a drop and the right wheels can transform anything!

been a little while since updating this.. but here goes.. had a little trouble with police.. got pulled a few times, mostly due the arches corrording (read falling off!).. mot is due soon, so need to get on and sort the metal side of things out! 1st off, custom arches.. started with new wings and rear repair arches.. so with a little adjustment with said hammer.. rolled inner beed.. then onto the rears.. touch of 'tuning' with the big hammer... not finished as I want to extend them further, more on that later.. other things going on, finished the adjustble spring hangers also, got a little exhaust work done, still more to do tho! hopefully break the welder out over the next few weeks, get a bit done.. I'll update when done
