Looks good to me.
I've just come back from welding in the dark world under the Sintra and now trying to thaw out. I wear an old waxed jacket - like a Barbour but a moody Aldi one and that provides good protection when the sparks are coming down.

That recalls a teenage ache. I never had a BMX, not even a humble Raleigh Burner. The PK Ripper! Don't start.
My parents hated BMXs, and where I grew up in London everything got nicked anyway so I had well used old bikes.
düdo comes from the 1973 Mercedes 406 van that I signed up with here a few years ago. This series of van was built in Düsseldorf (from 1967-1984 approx) and are thus nicknamed 'Düdo' - I'm not German, just washed up here.

Very nice place, sympathetically created - looks as good from the outside as it does from the inside. You're a lucky fella. Do you have frequent gatherings in there? Looks good for some relax.

... I'm from London, I'm being held hostage in Germany. ... Ah, didn´t know that til today. The 'düdo' handle perhaps confuses? I'm just holding out for the Christmas parcel from the Red Cross, scratching lines on the wall of the cell.. Chrysler voyager by the looks of it. At least I got the right continent! Not sure if I've seen one of these on the road

I can't complain : Dad : Mk3 Cortina Estate in light blue ... Really a Cortina? Or rather a Taunus, a Knudsen maybe? My dad had a Knudsen Taunus estate in dark blue, that´s my earliest automotive memory from my childhood. But could not mention this here, since I don´t consider it as ugly and certainly would love to own one today! Yes, a Mk3 Cortina Estate with nice sticky vinyl seats. The Taunus wasn't available in England. I'm from London, I'm being held hostage in Germany. None of my parents' cars were ugly when I was growing up - though they've got a 90s Mercedes compact thing now which is such a non-event I don't even know what it's called. My Grandad could never drive - his car was the Routemaster bus - upstairs at the front, having a fag.

Maybe lubricate that wooden 'item' with some linseed oil? Rub it in. This thread makes me feel that I've lived a sheltered life - never found anything! But I've really enjoyed the discoveries of others.

I can't offer comparisons as I've only got one : iCarsoft OB2 i902 for Opels. Available for your preferred marque I've got a few different 90s Opels and this thing is compatible with vehicles from '97 on. €120 and it covers all the systems. Well built, simple to use and long guarantee. Does the job. Interesting... Ever tried it on an Omega? I use a cheapy ELM and Torque app... But it only does engine as far as I can work out, useful but I want more! I've used it mostly for my Sintra which throws codes for fun - it's got the same 3.0 V6 as the Omega but I've never tried it on an Omega but I'm sure it's the same. Also used on the wife's Tigra - but not recently - no problems for a year after initial engine swap. When it's lying in the drawer unused that's the best scenario - means everything's working ( or broken on stands like the Sintra).

Respect for the dedication to detail! How about a small vid so we can hear it?

That's the sort of thing that Russian oligarchs pay a lot of sheets for in their London 'iceberg houses' - subterranean pool, just one level above the subterranean garage/media centre etc.
Or you could just put the slab back over it and pretend you haven't seen it?

How about mixing some colour/pigment in with the cement? Obviously, if it's already laid, it's too late but that's what I'm going to try.
My issue is laying the concrete onto an uneven wooden barn floor. Fire prevention is the main consideration. I've got til Spring to come up with a plan.

I was thinking that 'New Home' meant it had been sold/passed on but good to see it's got its own hanger now. My '88 R21 is our everyday family ride now.

Blame photobucket. Killed forums for me. Any other method is so much more work and takes time I don't have. Dez, try post image it's quick and easy. P'bucket going down slayed a load of threads. Always enjoy your stuff
