Make sure you arent inside a CAZ or ULEZ zone.
Chances of getting a decent Hilux for sub £4k these days seems slim, they have been exported for years (mine went to Nigeria!)
Things like the Ford Ranger seem to be cheaper & in better condition but I don't know how good they are. The older Vauxhall Brava/Izuzu Rodeo always looked kinda cool.

You can get a 2017 Honda Jazz 1.3 petrol for under £8k, that would give you 4 years of motoring before you have to change to a newer car.
Great on fuel, it's a Honda so it will work, no turbo & not too many emissions things on them that will go wrong.

Was a good show plenty to see I dunno who Henry is 😂 think that was his car ? . The suburau had a phone no in the window. Shure if you contact the boys @thedrivers collection they can put you in contact with the owner. It did look tidy What a cracking venue 👌🏼 Haha, yes it's his 1FM. I was just being nosey, it looked very tidy but didnt get chance to stop as was rushing by that point.

Any chance of offering these lessons as a sideline for the wives and mother's of fellow Retro Riders? They're not listening to me!!! Haha, tbh I don't know how I got him to listen, think it was a fluke.

Thats a lot of work! Does the e46 have the same emergancy bonnet release's somwhere in the depths of the bumper? A guy who lived on our old road spent a few hours with his arm behind the bumper to get his open (e36).

I do like the look of this little Suzuki Pictures don't do the colour justice, it's very much like Lamborghini Murcielago verde draco. It was rescued from a scrap yard & used to be red. Much want for a Kei car atm, loved the Cap & the Alto works.

Driven Collection? How was it? Looked good from the photos I've seen. Thread incoming?? Yes it was the drivers collection at Magna, first show I have been to since probably 2018. Reminded me of Doncaster Custom car show in the late 90's where there was a bit of everything, like that but looked like real life instagram. Really nicely set out show with a very eclectic mix of cars, setting worked great as well. I let my 8 year old loose with my phone so I will go through the pics and can chuck them in a thread. Missed some of the car's as the kids were getting hangry so had to make a quick exit lol.

It's best when selling a car (and various other items) privately, to get the buyer to sign a form stating bought as seen, tried and tested, with no warranty implied or given. I have done this for the last 10ish years, AA do a sellers/buyers reciept template document for free. I always write on it Sold as inspected. Have also done this when buying a few car's, it's nice to have proof of purchase/sale.

Haha thank you mate! I didn’t see you at all would have been good to catch up 🤙🏻 I only saw Nath as he snuck up on me and booted me up the ar$e 🤣. Didn't even get to catch up with him as by time we got to that side kids were hungry and ratty so had to rush through. Car looks well though mate, saw the Panda as well.

Could you sand 0.5mm off the base of the cap? Please don't scrap it yet

Google suggests that it should be half that gap

If the arm and cap are identical, could you sacrifice one and cut a hole in it so you can see how big/small the gap is? When they are mounted on the distributor.

I really like these, considering some of these are 20 years old they have aged very well. Quite fancy a dark purple estate 2.4
