Just after some info to help with a problem I'm having please!
I need to check the coil pack wiring on an S-Type, each plug has a separate coil and introducing a new coil hasn't cured a mis-fire. I'm suspecting a fault in the wiring.
So, if I'm testing each plug with a multi-meter, what am I looking for? Will there be a constant voltage when the engine is running or will it pulse with the timing?
Thanks!

There was a very similar thread on here very recently. I can't retype what I put at the moment but it got plenty of replies!

My brother's polo of a similar age used to do the not starting thing. If it was left for exactly an hour, it wouldn't start. Ten minutes more or less and it was fine. I never got to the bottom of it and the only fault code it ever showed up was a faulty cat.

What happened with the BX? I'd been following earlier but it escaped me!
Looks a good buy, I'd be too nervous to get one though! Haha

I know this is an old thread to bump, but I've just seen this car on Wheeler Dealers! Was this before or after the episode? Also states it's not a genuine RS.

My mate just avoided an eBay scam on an item he was selling. He found a customer services number in this country on the bottom of the page. The guy he spoke to removed his negative feedback and refunded his final listing fee.
I'd try to find the English number if I were you!

I know it wouldn't help the day before the test but... I know of an MGTF which has been right on the pass limit for emissions for a few years. After the last MOT the owner has been using Redex religiously in every fill up. This year, it passed with flying colours!!
I wouldn't have ever believed it would work.

Hi, It's difficult to prove because he's not doing the work and the deception, he's leaving that to others to do and get caught. He will claim ignorance saying he is selling memorabilia. If he sticks to that he can't even be done for conspiracy to commit which carries a lower burden of proof. Colin DVLA can mark the registration though so that no one else can use it!

Are you wanting something to still fit in the garage? Only asking because everyone has suggested saloons so far!

curse word lol. I tried finding that but had no luck lol. That is an option I suppose, which I hadn't thought of. Just wanted a nice clean set of gauges rather than having them all over the place, nothings ever easy is it lol It's only every 12 months, just add and remove lolll

So, I'm looking to replace the mains lamp I have in the garage, one of those ones with a hook on the top and a long lead on the bottom.
I'm after something rechargeable instead, I only use it for an hour at a time and I'd rather free up a plug for something else.
Does anyone use anything particularly good? Would be good if it was magnetic aswell, a hook isn't always much good in a wheel arch!
Thanks!

Can you get sliding Windows to convert defenders from vans to cars? Not sure if that would be too big though. *google check* Like this
