I'll have a google then, thanks!
I've only seen one on Japan eBay which had the same bracket as mine but it was a lot more expensive than the others!

Does it power the circuits in the van when the engine isn't running? ie, when you've parked!

We've had a variety of K-Series cars and only ever had issue with one, a 45 consistently lost water. We've currently got a pair of Petrol FL's and neither have had any problems, one of which has been in ownership for about 10 years!
As with anything, if a previous owner poorly maintains it, you're going to have issues.
What reliability problems have you been having? Is it just head gaskets?

I'm going to bump this mega old thread, rather than start a new one. I'm after one of these for my Pajero, I already have a bracket and the wiring on my car, just after the pole! I'll make one eventually but would like a real one

Though I agree painting would prevent corrosion which I think would be much more adverse for conducting heat than a thin paint coat.. **Sneaks off to buy paint..** Paint it silver and no one will know! Lol

I fear that by complete fluke, I may have fixed it!!! Lol
I found the pipes where they enter the bulkhead and prized the rubber off. Boshed the hose down it and plenty of iron bru came out. The flow was much stronger in one direction than the other.
Anyway, I put everything back together and went for a run, one pipe was boiling hot and the other cold, heater was luke warm at best. In my frustration I took a very aggressive route home lol, and the heater now blows warm!! Fair enough it's not red hot, but it works, for now :/ I must have dislodged something on my test run.
Someone recommended dropping a dishwasher tablet in, but I don't think I'm going to push my luck for now!

Well he turned up, apologized, handed over what we agreed without quibble and we shook on it. Fair enough in my book. Genuinely surprising!

I didn't think about bleeding it! I had a leak from the thermostat recently which I've now fixed. I better have a look at how to get rid of any potential air.

I can hear the flap moving though so I can't see why it would still blow cold. There was nothing mechanically wrong with gf's car last week but I changed the matrix and now the heater blows hot?! :/ I'm off work tomorrow so I'll get under there! Ryann Let me have the vehicle details via pm I'll get you a price on the matrix I work at a Mitsubishi dealership Cheers for the offer, I'll send you a PM with the vin!

A 2nd hand one is still £60 minimum I don't have the money spare right now so I'll have to do without.

It packed up towards the end of last winter. It doesn't have a valve as the flap just blocks the air off when you want cold, and opens when you want hot. I can hear it going flappy flap when I turn the dial.

I had someone log a case against me, saying that a toy I posted didn't arrive, the buyer had paid £100 so I posted it very securely! Lol
Anyway, I emailed the buyer saying "did you receive the item" reply came "yes thanks it's great". I forwarded this to PayPal and the case was miraculously closed! #genius

Morning all, I'm after some advice/real world experience!
The heater has packed in on my shogun and it'll only now blow cold air. The Yorkshireman in me is struggling with the thought of paying nearly £100 for a new matrix and spending a day taking the entire dash out. I've just put a new one in the gf's mini and it was less than an hour's job!
So anyway, what else am I left with to heat my windscreen? I'm not too bothered about cabin heat as I can just put a coat on, but defrosting the windows and keeping them clear is an issue.
Does anyone have any experience of 12v heaters or heating elements?
Thanksss!

I had a lot of problems when I got hit by a taxi.
Refused to tell me where he worked, I found out just by reading the door ffs! Called the place and they denied all knowledge of him!
Once I got that sorted out, we agreed a cash price and he said he'd only pay when the work was done, fair enough. I got the work done for that agreed price (I already knew a place that did bumpers for x amount) and when I went back with the receipt he began to haggle again at a price lower than I paid!
I'd never give one the benefit of doubt again. Always call the police, even just 101.

Have you ever taxed it in your ownership? Don't you have to pay for the tax on a historic vehicle once and then claim it back? As above, this may mean you can't sorn it and the system is pointing out that you have personally never taxed it in your ownership?

they were all generally pleased with the improved traffic management we put in place this year. . When I was leaving, a guy in the petrol station told me how much better it was and that the road was inaccessible last year! Just passing on some positives!

Afternoon all, I'm after some advice.
I'm buying a steering wheel and need to have it sent to me by courier. Seller has asked me to arrange a courier to collect but, as I've never done this before, how do I get around having to print off the label and attach it to the parcel? Are there companies out there who don't need a specific label? Thanks!
