yea... so moaar work one fine monday morning have a cuppa tea off to uni and the car refuses to start thought it was the remote start i installed earlier that weekend that caused it to die. done all checks couldnt figure out what was rong. Got some help from a car electrician mate and he done his thing and came to a conclusion, loss of compression, droped oil down the bores no good... so towed the car back home and it was a head off job, guess what? timing was out by 6 notches and had 4 exaust valves bent. took everything off and here are some pics to do the talking. the head new stuff old bent valves head with new valves. meh grinding them in to their seats was a job back on the car now the timing belt and other important stuff like the radiator airfilter... also got a new dizzy cap and rotor arm they were nearly End of life. no pictures sorry altho the car runs much better... more like milion times better ;D ;D

This is a common sight in Norway. All going to Germany for export to Africa. I see ads daily in newspapers where persons with african names wants to buy older Toyotas. yuup!!! them are the most common minibuses(toyota hiace, and nissan urvan) and taxies(504,505 back then 80's 90's now toyota corolla's) used in kenya. although as far as i remember most of the importers started getting stuff from japan and dubai because its cheaper.

a long list from the back of my head... not that i hate all new cars only afew ;D 1) the fact them being bulky metal... not plastic 2) not a ship load of electric gremlins. 3) parts that do not cost me a leg and arm 4) they all don't look nearly the same with diffrent badges 5) rwd fun *i have started whinging haven't i ? * apart from that, watching and helping my dad while he worked on old cars and rebuilt them.

yea the 75W ones are just good for charging and table lamps, the 150w can scrape enough energy to power a laptop, although starts screaming for power when the voltage on the battry drops below 12W.
