It's the 2nd Retro-Rides Awards. This year we're keeping the results under out hats until the night (vote here) so there's a new element of suspense too! The whole thing is meant to be informal, turn up, eat (good) food, chat, take photos and then hand out a few awards and shake a few hands.  There's been no announcement so far as I'm having trouble speaking to anyone relevant at The Ace, but as the date is actually Classic Cars night I guess we can go ahead anyway. This leaves two scenarios: a. Turn up, chat, eat food and hand out awards from the cosy stage area. b. Turn up, chat, eat food and busk it - probably doing the awards in the car park. Hopefully I'll speak to someone soon and it'll be the first option. If not, the important stuff (cars, grub and people) are all in place.      (There's no dress code...David's just smart!) So who's coming? |

How many Rmads will be coming this year? ;D Mk14, being a winter Classic Cars meet it won't be that busy except for "us" People generally arrive from about 6 ish though I suspect some of the R-R cotingent will be earlier than that to make a longer do of it.  Long distance award this year? |

Since I'm missing RRG09, I'm gonna make an effort on this one, though with a tired and neglected old van (read gamble, and messy) and 2 days before January pay day and on a school night miles from home, better not make any promises!  |
