yea them van engines in there are quite loud, but when driving you can hardly hear it running. what sort of cylinder head problems?
oo btw for the wheels it might be a good idea checking the wheel offset on the 760 if its the same as the 960 et35 you will be able to get quite a big variety as they have the same offset on the FWD Volvos

44squids! gosh that is a mega deal and a half ;D I can not even get enough fuel to run a car for £44. it looks very clean, seems it was well looked after. liking the dropage, I think a set of nice wheels will do this car some justice. sorry to be ignorant but are these RWD?

super-cars well not to my taste, but the effort put in to the car is surely appreciated. If you have been to edition 38 shows there is a green golf that has got pretty much everything from a lambo everyone praises how well the car looks, etc etc just because its the scene. saying that this kind of thing might be very popular in the owners scene. at the end of the day its Awesome because its different and the only one of its kind ;D funny how its made a mess on that forum ;D

no what i was trying to say is IMO invest in a proper jack, we all need to use axle stands but sometimes there is that odd job you leave it to the jack to hold-up if you have a good jack lesser risks, if you have a bad jack more risks.

Scissor jacks ;D I usually just drive on to some 6X2 then some blocks, then put my normal jack under, but then again i'm lazy jacks, if it were me I would save up a little more for jack with a name/brand at the end of the day we need to work under the jacked car. i know some will say what are axle stands for, but how many times are we doing those little jobs that we say sod stands, jack it change it and put it back down

both m47 the ones with a lift up reverse the same then. easy to do in situ, FWD gearbox is a nightmare if compared, usual jack-up and important stuff undo the prop on the gearbox side, move it out of the way, four bolts that hold the gear stick to the box one 10mm bolt to disconnect the gear stick from the box starter motor off, disconnect the little wires going to the box if any long reach extension bars on the ratchet to go over the bell housing to undo the gearbox to engine bolts (makes it easier opening from underneath)
not much to open, however a helping hand is very useful.

They are ok, but whatever you do don't rely on them for torquing up the bolts, make sure you check they are tight manually.IMO they don't last too long, you are better of getting the cordless one if your going to use it often.

yep they if they are 5 speed they are the m47 and if they are 4 speed overdrive then they are m46. if its an auto to manual then the flywheel is different. easy to change once you got the hang of them, can do a clutch on them in three hours on my back thanks to the engine conversion

I am aware this is not the RR spirit, as the community here is always up for the what is best but i'm just thinking outside the box. charging per car- ie £15 brings allot of people/audience to the event, ie some mates/family are always up for a nice day/weekend out at free of cost even thou they are not interested in the event, this makes the event lively and a nice family day out. however probably does not cover the cost of hiring extra equipment ie port-a-loo. but this way some probably say sod it ill just jump I with my mate its cheaper charging per person - ie £15/£10 this probably end-up costing too much say for a family of 4, and people saying sod it I will just go alone/ or mates saying why should I pay the same amount as you even thou I am not interested/not taking my car because its not running. however this might make it fair for the event costs. I suppose it could be done like the other shows, the driver of the car in the show stand pays with the car ie £10, and the people who enter the show on foot pay at door ie £5, kids can be free?, the track rounds pays ie £15 and camping like last year is per head ie £5. just a suggestion I think that would make it fair for all? like this I think every one is chipping in for their part of entertainment as far as my coming to RR10 concerned I am going to be there regardless of how I have to pay, as the atmosphere here its worth every penny

simples, you get what you pay for. Budget tyres are half the price and seem to give half the mileage, twice the road noise, and less then half the traction. Budget tyres might be owned by bigger brands however the rubber compound used for them are not the same, the tread pattern is also different, and these are important factors in tyres. There might be one or two decent budget tyres makes out there but I personally would not say budgets are as good as premium even though it was the same company.
