Yeah thats a stone throw away I'd be up for that. And it's pretty much downhill all the way home useful if my Scimitar has broken down....

There is quite a car freindly pub between High Wycombe and Maidenhead on the A4 I think, can't rember what the name of it is though.

I'd be up for that too: I might live in Wales now, but I'm Burnham born and bred, and could visit my folks.

Nice new service station at Beaconsfield might open it up to a slightly bigger audience that can make their way up the M40?
A little soul-less maybe, but No-Rice at Fleet services has done pretty well.

1989 Peugeot 205. You know, the one that was parked in a ditch on the campsite at RRG'17... the glass is always full. but the ratio of air to water may vary.

It also has the biggest petrol station in the U.K. It's quite a sight.

what says peeps to the beaconsfield services then? will have to see if theres one of those daft 2 hour limits on parking (they issue fines on number plate recognition) Now I know with pub meets, its usual to chat to the landlord to keep him sweet. I'm guessing with a service station theres no point? LOL correct me if I'm wrong. Failing that, theres a few pubs not far off the M40 at stokenchurch, and I think quite a few niceuns not far away from the high wycombe junction. Any takers? this looks like it could be a really good meet
