I'm on Lancaster Canal. Those hills in the background are the forest of Bowland. We've had cruisers since 1998 but this is our first Narra'. It's a lovely calming place .

Ahh fab. I will take some interior pics tomorrow. It's made by Seaotter. Uses a really clever design that fills the ballast with canal water. I've been looking for one for a while but so many narrow boats have rust or hull thickness issues. This had a leaking calorifier and my friend went to fix it and they mentioned they were retiring from boating due to ill health. The next day they sailed passed and I waived them down. 10 minutes later we shook hands on a deal. It was really fateful how it happened. Engine is like a sewing machine and has 1000 hours and great service history. The calorifier heats the water. It's like a barrel shaped heat exchanger. I have a new one to install. It needs TLC here and there as they were quite poorly but I like doing jobs. The shower pump doesn't work, the toilet flush pump doesn't work and small things like that. Nice small satisfying jobs. It's got a 4 ring gas oven, a full size fridge and a massive bed. I've already rescued a broken down boat and towed it to safety. Will share more pics of the jobs and inside tomorrow. Cheers.😊

Hi,not sure if this is of interest , I've sold my old cruiser and my BMW E30 to buy this 31 ft narrow. It's a bit special as it's made of aluminium. That means no rust or taking out to black the bottom. It's got a little Kubota diesel engine and a fab bow thruster. I will take some pics of the inside if anyone is interested. Cheers Jed

I might try at 2995. Lots of rusty e30s about. Would make a good car if solid .

Any no worries mate. Time to let go as it's just sat in the garage.i have little motivation at the moment. I do have a boat project that's keeping me busy and a bungalow that I'm renovating and work and a fair bit of caring so it's never gonna get done. Would have been nice to watch it's restoration on here 😀

I bought this a fair while back with enthusiasm but then lost my way with it after a bereavement. I've not touched it for a long time. The pictures are in this thread here. I have lots of spares and panels and fitted an immaculate interior. I need back what I have in it. Sorry no bids. Trying it on here so a fellow enthusiast can have a chance if they want before eBay etc. Car is in Lancashire. Needs light to medium restoration but is the 2 door coupe with rare 2.3 straight six. Fuel injection. 5 speed manual. Pm for more details. Thanks Jed forum.retro-rides.org/thread/215643/1985-bmw-e30-323i-door?page=1&scrollTo=2627640

G3 is normally pretty effective with a buffer and some water. Oxalic acid is another suggestion that won't hurt the fibreglass.

Rear headrests in saloon cars made me think they were luxurious as a kid. My 323i has them .

KGF, check out salvage rebuilds on you tube. They just collected a perfect mgf with 15k on. Totally immaculate. Think it's going through Barons so one to watch as seems ideal stock for you.
