Hayburner direct from them. PVW from Tesco normally PPC from WHSmiths.
I also now get quite a few magazines for free on the Kindle App due to the wife's Amazon Prime subscription. Classic Ford, BSH, Evo, Scootering, Fast Car,Classic and Sports Car, Volksworld have all been on.

I have a real soft spot for the F and TF. Its great that you've discovered the provenance of this one, as you say if it hadn't been recognised for what it is I can't imagine it would have done much more than donate its engine.

I have absolutely loved it! First time I've been fired up about watching motorsport on TV for years! The coverage and commentary has been spot on. Even my car averse wife has thoroughly enjoyed some of the battles!

Getting over the 1k subs barrier seems to make a massive difference.
A friend of mine is doing a Mini build on YouTube, converting a Mk4 shell entirely to Mk1 Spec and being quite anal about it. As soon as he went over 1k subscribers and adsense etc kicked in his views went up literally 10 fold. YouTube also stuck one of his videos in the suggested for a lot of people and it ended up getting nearly 90k views!
Hopefully you will have equal success.

Can't believe I'm saying this as a dyed in the wool VW fan, but I would go for the PT Cruiser! Think I've seen too many Sharan black cabs and its put me off a bit.

I'm interested in what will happen with Hydrogen fuel cell tech as that looked like it would be interesting at one point. This also greatly interests me. Surely hydrogen technology is the way forward. Especially as in theory all petrol powered ICE cars could be converted. I have nothing against Electric cars and if the range was higher I would probably have one, but more than likely I would lease one rather than buy one. It seems that is the way new car ownership is going. Tom

My Dad had a Multijet Diesel Sporting for years and loved it. I thought it was like driving a little van.
He slid on black Ice and hit a kerb in it and put it on its roof.
Me and my Brother found this hilarious as our Dad is not a car person in the slightest and is a really slow driver, and he has managed to do something that neither of us have!

I've just spent this absolutely miserable afternoon catching up on the last 15 or so pages of this thread and its been lovely!
The work you and your partner have done on the Standard is just brilliant. I love the ethos you are going with, nicely reviving the original fixtures and fittings. It really captures the character of the car. The transformation of the interior is especially amazing and the exterior looks perfectly careworn.
Keep up the good work and I'll try my best to keep up with the updates!

fr€$h&m1nt¥ Thanks for the info there, i've been on a PCD site and have found the following info. Land rover wheels from the following models are 5X108 PCD Discovery Sport Freelander 2 (the earlier Freelander is J PCD) LR2 Evoque Velar All seem to be a suitable transplant onto the Volvo. Possibly. I am sure I remember a for sale advert for that Jaguar listed above, and I am sure the owner said the wheels were 19". I've hit ebay and found a few suitable wheels. I used to run Land Rover P38 Monoblocks but adaptors for them seem hard to find. Bit late to the party with this but, the S type above used adaptors and Range Rover Sport 19" Wheels. Tom

Love them! They do have issues though. The under scuttle area can fill up with water when the drain holes block and drown the ecu.
The diesels can have issues with fuel pumps, but this can be remedied with the use of a Peugeot diesel pump.
