there was a baywindow with a front panel opening door back in the day, from memory, they were early speed camera vans for the Polizei, unfortunately, my google-fu is weak today (I've got a bit of a cold) and I can't find any pics, so it could be based on one of them? I thought exactly the same when I saw it and had to prove my mind wasnt playing tricks;

I'm sure I have posted these before but this was an impulse buy from the Oakland police auction; Came with a glove box full of country and western CD's, a pack of Camels and a playboy on the dash :-) Sold it on to pay for 3 weeks in California. Dave.

generally01 Your Dad's takes me back. Mine circumnavigated the whole loft back when I was a kid (70-80s). All boxed up and in storage nowadays- still at my Dads. Loved my LNER Seagull Its taken my dad 40 years of collecting and building to get to that stage. All the points are hand made to fit the junctions. This is the 0 guage Duchess finished; hes onto his next one. Dave

Another Audi. 1996, 2.6 V6 A6 Avant. Cost £800 4 years ago. In the time I have had it its had 1 front spring, a water pump, couple of tyres and a second hand rear wiper motor. All good appart from a slight blow in the exhaust and a few bulbs out on the dash. Mpg. Avg 19 round town and best I ever got on a motorway run was 32. I would get a Jag but it just cant compete with boot space for bikes and not having to worry about rust (galvanised) rainy audi 3 by route9autos.co.uk, on Flickr rainy audi 2 by route9autos.co.uk, on Flickr Dave

Very nice and good to see they resisted fitting big bling wheels.
Might be the window, the pillar or the drop of the swage line but something dosnt look quite right about the rear 1/4.
Euro headlamps are an interesting choice for a custom RR built in the US.

P.S. Internets points if you can I.D. the first 2 cars from the pics (don't cheat and look through my flickr folder). Is the first one a MGB or Healey? First one is a Healey 3000.

Only on Retro rides would we have an advert for a half million pound house and the smallest of the pictures is the house.

I travelled in convoy with fellow Vdubbers down to vanfest 4 years ago. They decided to treat their bay window van to a new set of hubcaps as the ones that had been on their in their 2 years of ownership were looking a little grubby.
They took the best of the caps that came from the road wheels, cleaned it up and went to fit it on the spare wheel fixed to the front.
When they removed the cap from the spare wheel there was a spare set of keys to the van that the previous owner had hidden and never told them about.

This is fantastic. What's the story? The original picture was posted from my flickr account, if you follow the link from that the story is there.
