Or a place with a laser cutter.
There is probably a place making perforated steel sheet somewhere chucking bin loads of little discs in for scrap

there was a bloke years back who asked a similar question/was told to go get a sensible family car by his wife.
he came home the same day with a Delorean.
I don't know who or where he is, but that man is my hero

£80 bloody hell.
My mate saved for ages working nights at Tesco and paid £12k for one of these, was around 2003, he was about 21 at the time. Seemed as crazy as buying a new Ferrari now.
Something went wrong on it, he sold for £2500 a couple years later... silly boy

Just stuff I have done / learnt over the years - normally it's very simple / easy but very effective odds So here is the first one 'How to convert your garden hose to a water jet' Simple, quick, effective and costs peanuts - take a 13mm diameter non high tensile bolt approx 50 mm long - drill a 2mm hole all the way down the centre of it - stick in the end of the garden hose and retain with a hose clip if required Turn the tap on and away you go Ok it's not a pressure washer - but it does the basic job ok Did this today, solved an ongoing problem I have if living in a flat and having no decent way to clean my bike. This was perfect, cheers for the ideas!

with arc, on dirty old thin metal, its like you are trying to thread a needle with an elephants foot. at the end of the day, it's not made for thin panels. draw the line around here. just something to aim for...

Get some linseed oil on the black plastic, shiny windows, clean number plate and interior.
A4 paper, FOR SALE £500, in big font, take up most the page. Under that, include your blurb about mileage, mot, cheap tax, low mpg, etc (reiterate cheap reliable nature and that it doesn't need anything spending on it or hassle) put that in a smaller font, add your mob number.
Park on a main road with signs in the window. It will sell

I crashed my mk2 golf in to a canal and had to get it craned out.
£600ph for cranage surprised me. and I had to pay it there and then to top it off. thanks RAC!

just saw a dark schim the other day in traffic near the west pier, and it had a noticeable patch over the sunroof area. (probably should have put this in your sunroof thread to be more in context!)

I have just gone through this with a motorbike. the bloke before wasn't bothered about it but I didn't want to run it illegally. it has a larger engine in it than the v5 says and it takes it in to a higher tax band. I have changed it to be legit but I can't tax it and run it until the v5 is back in my hand, 4 weeks waiting according to dvla lady on the phone. using the down time to restore it. wasn't ever the intention...
just change the capacity on the v5 before you send it off and you'll be ok.

just looking at it, if you're going to have a 5 degree angle on the mating face you would need an equal angle on the bit holding the tube.

you could do that with a lump of ali and some basic tools.
cut the shape roughly, finish it with a file/linisher. bevel the edges to that angle you want with a file/linisher. drill the holes. use a hole saw for the bar recess.
that's what I would do anyway, since you only need two.
with a linisher it would be pretty easy/piece of curse word
