Well yes, £3.72 was a funny...
£3-400 will net one, which you'all get most back breaking it
That or you could stick some cheap 18s on, drop it then charge nearer £3k ;p
Ps. eBay is not the best place to buy cars from....

colnerov Thanks for the info, I didn't know the P4 gearbox was so fragile! Obviously being a 50s gearbox it wouldnt shift quickly but I was hoping it'd handle a bit of 'spirited' use well enough, especially if I stuck with skinny tyres. They actually date back to the 1930's with the P3. A goodun will likely last a while with a Tdi in front of it, and if you started with a six cylinder box then it's going to have had an easier life than one that's spent 60 years being worked to death in a Series II. I'm putting a 2jz-ge in my P4, straight 6 to match the original, an auto box the car should of come with and 200+ lazy BNP Plus they are pence...

I have no idea about the gearbox/200tdi combo I'm afraid, the povo spec P4 had the 4 cyl engine so it may work, but then it may not
What you should be concerned about it's the use of a diesel in the first place ;p

Seems legit, its just a shell as spares. I suggest the fact he's used the ID on a 'galvanised rebuild' without actually rebuilding it would imply the dodgy parts already been done on another Land Rover...

The strip down has begun! I started pulling the loom last night and as I got more into it I started thinking about its replacement and it occurred to me it would be a lot of work to do a re-wire only to have to do most of it again when I throw another engine in. So the 2.6 6 is coming out, will be sold; and with the monies from that a donor shall be bought. I really want a 4.0 AJ6, but I'd also be happy with a 2jz-ge from a gs300 as they are pence and no doubt as reliable as sin. Just not a pretty engine to show off what with its inlet stretching across the lump :/ Anyone want a running 2.6 with all ancillaries?

Yeah eBay
I put them all as buy it nows, saves losing out as randomly some go real cheap.
Search for the item you've got, click on the sold listings button and you'll see what the prices are, I dropped a tenner or so off the best price and stuck them on for 30 days.
You don't pay for listings anymore, just if you sell, so just keep it on and it will go. To be fair, all mine went in the first few days anyways, because: old Ford

A lot!
I just broke a dead kitcar and made a mint on the axle
My diff was a common 3.88 but i got £180
Axle casing and shafts - £120
Mine luckily has 9 inch drums, that was another £70, but the standard ones still make £40-£50

What I need to do is make some plywood mock ups of the 2 sizes when she's dropped a bit to see how I feel. I'm literally going off a quick photoshop i did and some rough measurements, so it's all open to change. 18's would be more sensible The inner arches are only metal right Yeah, to be honest I hate the braided wiring, trying to find blue with a white stripe? Hmmmmm every single one is a dirty brown colour Ha, I was just telling a mate last night about the awesome wipers, i love the park feature. The single speed not so much...

Another tiny installment in my never ending saga of buying a 60's brit
Mojo was high after finally sorting all the fueling out and tuning the carb just lovely. She started on the button, ran super on the mixture control till warm, then idled superbly and revved crisply.
Good times. I can crack on now, replaced that crusty rear corner maybe? Had an hour last night though, so best do a little job, the interior lights, some of the gauges and the horns etc didn't work.
Simple wiring issue you'd think, most of it was all on the one fused circuit, the fuse was blown, EASY!
The majority of the wiring appears to be behind the dash console, best whip that out and start checking earths and the like. HORROR
Melty, burny, crispy meh! I'd say 40% of the loom is toast, the whole headlight circuit is a burnt up mess (weirdly the lights work)
I could start picking it apart and replace the bad bits.
I could purchase a new loom, lets have a look, £408!!! F that.
Looks like i'm making a new loom, modern materials, lots of fuses, lots of relays, lots of time :/
She will be low, I promise, but not just yet...

I always drop an email to vehiclefraud@avcis.pnn.police.uk He thinks he's being clever with the Fiesta above by not giving reg away, but the VIN is there

2 brand new plastic molded buckets seats I bought these for a project that never happened. Never fitted. They are made from HDPE plastic and are impact resistant, very durable and is easy to wipe clean. The seat has 7 fixing points molded into the bottom and has slots for a 5 point harness. The dimensions are Width 540mm Front to back length 500mm Height 850mm Offset at the back of the seat from base to headrest 230mm Weight 7.5kgs £100 for the pair Clicky for original suppliers burb... (Seats are not marked, it was spitting when i took the pics...) Collection from Burton on Trent, or I imagine they'd cost about £15ish to wrap and post

It's a chassis mate, one that wouldn't look out of place on a tank!
Not sure how easy a body drop would be to be honest.
The suspension is a comical height as standard, that i do know
