Hi
I have a Mk2 escort rear axle with a 3.9 final drive that I may not be using for my locost build but have no idea of its value.
Would anyone be able to help out with what I might be able to get for this?
Many Thanks
Jon

A lot!
I just broke a dead kitcar and made a mint on the axle
My diff was a common 3.88 but i got £180
Axle casing and shafts - £120
Mine luckily has 9 inch drums, that was another £70, but the standard ones still make £40-£50

Ah ok, that's interesting as I am considering using an MX5 rear end instead so i could potentially sell this and buy an MOT failure to scavenge all the bits I need.
Where did you sell yours?? Ebay I assume might be the best place?
Thanks

Yeah eBay
I put them all as buy it nows, saves losing out as randomly some go real cheap.
Search for the item you've got, click on the sold listings button and you'll see what the prices are, I dropped a tenner or so off the best price and stuck them on for 30 days.
You don't pay for listings anymore, just if you sell, so just keep it on and it will go. To be fair, all mine went in the first few days anyways, because: old Ford
