Tomorrow I pick up my new car A 1962 Rover 100 I've hankered after one of these for years now but have never had the means or wrong place wrong time sort of situations. I've finally got my hands on one, straight swap for my Triumph Herald, which as awesome as it is, I've just never got on with. Anyways, have some pics. No doubt more to follow tomorrow Plans are maybe an English Pro-Touring look. Low on 18" reps of a classic wheel

I'm a big fan of these old Rovers. The interiors have some lovely touches. Looking forward to seeing your progres with it.

I've never quite got my head around how nobody makes cars like this anymore. It just seems crazy.

2 BAZZILLION BONUS POINTS !!!!!!!!
Seriously envious of your car.
Like you, I have always had other priorities and cars to chase and only allow myself one at a time, though the temptation arises regularly.
I love the whole thing, colour, look and it's relaxed, laid back, "I don't have to prove a thing" look.
Looking forward to this car and build unfold and of course your impressions and photos.
PS: Did I mention envy?
And that steering wheel,is an absolute thing of beauty.

ah ha! you wont have those indicators that drop down and remove passing cyclists then lol I'm going to imagine then that the older spec ones came with those indicators, manual wipers and the squeezy screen wash. all mod cons on yours then

Glad it made it back ok! There is a button you push with your left foot for the windscreen washers and it works brilliantly! I think the trafficators (flip out indicators) were only on the very early ones Enjoy dude, looking forward to seeing someone devote some proper time to it!

I then wanted to start cleaning the interior as it stinks of wood (the material not the smell of a boner) best quote ever!

I love it Liam mate, hope you feel the same about the Herald.
I'm in the process of writing a - long - list of things to do over winter. Least that's what I'm telling the missus, I'm mainly sitting in the back for hours, thinking I need a cigar and taking in the joy of it...

List as it stands, will be added to as I find more
Tappets (both sets, it's a I over e engine) need adjusting badly
Lazy starting, probably needs a few new earth straps, hopefully
A whole host of interior wiring, dash lights etc etc
Front wings are grotty at the sill area and around the light area, repair panels are available, as are glass wings
Fit included repair panel for rear valance
Feed seats and repair drivers as it's cracked
Lower that curse word, a lot...
Some sort of exhaust, release some straight 6 noise
