- Do more work in the evenings in the garage (i've been doing this for the past week, an hour or two a day and I'm amazed at how much I'm getting done) - Finish welding the amazon and refurb rear suspension by end of feb. - "There's always something to be getting on with" A bad habit of mine where I go to do a job and for some reason can't so I kind of stand there looking instead of doing other things. - Mega clearout/sale of tat/parts/rubbish - Ultimately get one car finished and on the road (amazon, bedford TK, or kit car)

Okay, I have one... When people talk about 'weighing it in' when they want to scrap a car, how do they go about doing it? I have a rolling shell that I'm stripping for useful bits and then I'd like to 'weigh it in' to make space - does someone come to me? I can hardly move it anywhere other than around the garage...? I'd never done this until last week. I had a volvo estate that I had taken the engine and box out and a few other bits to sell on. The local breaker yards either didn't want it or were offering pennies. They wanted some meat left on the bone to get some money for the parts. The local metal recycling place would collect and would pay me £75 but told me I'd get more if I took it in myself (which I knew but appreciated their honesty). In the end I rented a trailer for £25 (needed another of my cars moving the same day) and drove it there. Got £165

The bus in the OP is surely a 220cu, not 440cu. Our bedford has the 330cu and wouldn't dream of 25mpg, sounds like it's got the four pot. You need the correct license even if it's a motorhome, in my case I needed to get my Cat C as I passed my car test in 2001. Pre 1960 vehicles can be driven on a car license if unladen and unmodified from what I've read. I want this beast. 4x4, mollycroft roof, woodstove, beds etc: ![](http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/9656/58907.jpg)

Nice ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) What on earth would Uncle Monty make of it...? I think he'd love it, so much so that he'd have it even if it must be burglary

I've got a Weihrauch HW95 (.22) and a Smith and Wesson 5866 Revolver (.177)
Airsoft: Gas: Glock 18c, Mac 11, Mauser maxi carbine. Electric: MP5A5, MP5A5 'End Of Days', MP5SD5. Spring: APS2 Mk 2 Sporter.
I used to go airsofting quite a lot with friends, not been for a good few years. I want to go again next year but haven't been since new rule changes so I need to look into that first

I miss mine a lot. As above, short trips and round town not great on fuel but on motorway not bad. My record was 42mpg (2.0 5 speed 740 doing 55mph from leicestershire to plymouth) My 740 had been stood for 5 years and needed a small patch of welding on the passenger front footwell as the windscreen seal had started to let water in, other than that it just needed an ignition module (about £30 new)

I changed the engine in my kit car (2006) and sent a brief letter saying what I had done, filled in the V5, and took pictures of the new engine in the car and a close up showing the engine number and it came back fine in a couple of weeks.

Wasn't this the guy that was stopped on traffic cops a few weeks ago? I recognise the dog in the pics from the forum build thread. Yeah same chap, there's stuff about the traffic cop episode towards the end of the second build thread I linked to in my above post ^

where abouts in leicestershire are you? I rent a barn near melton mowbray and there were a couple of chaps in the unit next to me who have recently vacated, I'm not sure if it's available or not but I can find out if it's any use (quite near the edge of leicestershire so might be a bit far away)
