I realise this is not quite a car, well not a whole one, but i just had to post it  Popped down to the ACE today while picking up a Puch Maxi moped for a friend, i hoped to see some of the ratrod meet but sadly they had all vanished  the only thing left was this...  yes a VAG engined bike I don't know which engine but it had 1.9TD cast on the side of the block, the owner hadn't used the turbo though if that is what the TD stood for.  check out the filter on number 1  the fire extinguisher is the diesel tank No gears, let the clutch out and go, shaft drive straight from the center of the clutch. To add some car content... My wee orange beasties first ACE visit   |

Lol just noticed the sat nav/dashboard ;D I hope hes not relying on that too much as its the same as mine and we know how reliable that is don't we  |

thats an interesting motor.
the only time ive seen a bike with a car engine wasnt a bike, it was a trike with a huge aluminium cage at the back housing a 1.9td peugeot lump, was surprisingly quick actually.

i know diesels don't need a throttle body, but i don't think ive ever seen a more simple intake did you hear it start up? must be weird sounding! |

its probably a 1y engine code, as some of them had 1.9d/td stamped on the block.
we has a local bike club come intowork, with their shiny harleys etc, and i think it was called "the boss" a 5.7 litre v8 engined bike, but my favourite was the trike with the pug 306 1.9 na diesel in it, it was registered as an austin 1100 conversion, for tax exemption reasons, ran the 1100 subframe to which the 1.9 was mated, proper rat rod.

I swear they choose the biggest arsewipes for that show! I've had many a member of my family a copper (traffplod too) and they've never been as bad as the regulars you see on TV

I'm all for defending our rights to have a choice of what we ride or drive, but seriously, i think he really was taking the curse word a bit with that Vtwin bike.
But did I actually hear the coppers suggest the dog should be wearing a helmet and goggles ?? pmsl
