Was done in May 2010. I think there were a few threads on here ....and a grand morning it was too, so good for you for sparking it up again. Seth organised the 1st, and it went very smoothly, but I think that was testament to a lot of planning. Right number of cars, the right route, dedicated stops etc. I'm sure there would be interest again....

Put on the best damn show you've ever been to I think a lot of us would say you already achieved that last year, but always happy for you to better it again

7 days in and I don't think we've talked about this yet.
What, in terms of your Retro lives, are you hoping to achieve over the next 12 months. Let's keep it relevant to our shared hobby, and positive. Here's my list -
- Get the Toledo fit for carrying my little lady safely, so we can go out as a family in it - Get the Rochdale to a point where I would be happy with you guys poking it round it at a show and celebrating its 50th the right way - Spend less time on the Web and more time working on, or driving the cars themselves (this isn't at the expense of RR time - more the pointless internet detours I can take for hours and achieve nothing) - Book the time off work now for any shows I know I wan to go to now, to make sure I start planning; from Classics on the Common to Classic Le Mans - Get my a**e up to the Ace as it is the nearest regular event to me
Anyone else?

I'm a fan!
Yes, 50k is a lot of money. Yes, you could build one cheaper. The point is, the (few) people that this is targeted at can afford it, and probably don't have the time/skills/creativity to build one themselves. Hats off to Frontline, the Mazda engine and 6 speed box is a great choice I reckon. They have turned a car that I have never desired into one of my dream garage list. .....and those wheels are lovely

Back off a little guys, the OP hasn't committed a crime, he just isn't aware of the RR positivity rules. OP - I'd suggest removing the thread and posting a new one with a different flavour before the RR Police lynch you

After a pair of Corbeau Classic seats. Condition of trim unimportant as I will be stripping and recovering anyway. In fact, scruffy and cheap would be great. PM me please.
Cheers Al

Pure do a DAB unit which connects to your existing set up with a remote unit for control. I still hear that reception is pretty patchy but sure that will only improve BBC6 on it's own is good enough reason to do it

No one through choice would buy a Clio. It's a hateful excuse of a "Car" I have a Clio and it has been absolutely brilliant, the 172/182 is a performance car bargain, a brilliant drive! No offence taken however.......

Your threads always contain such a vast and varied amount of awesome that it's hard to know what to make reference to when replying.. I reckon that could be partly why you don't always get many replies despite showing consistently brilliant stuff each week. I'm sure I'm not alone, please keep them coming! Spot on ^^^^ Incredible pics that are always much appreciated. If you had to pay for RR, Cars and Coffee would be worth the licence fee on their own ;D

An Astin Allegro estate? or is it just me.... Not just you at all. The rear side window is a very similar profile. I'll get shot down for this, but I wish the conversion was more like the Allegro. Those two rear side windows just don't work, far too fussy. Beautiful example nonetheless.

Blimey! Absolutely brilliant, nice to see another GRP monocoque on here. Your vision and ambition is impressive! I love the aero mods you are making to the Davrian. How did you create the archs on the Davrian? from scratch or did you use arches from something else as a start point?
I wish I had skills like yours, my Olympic would have been finished many years ago!
Bookmarked and wanting more......

Stop posting Alfaholics pics Dan - my heart can't take this kind of activity! Genius cars, not pretty, and apparently not great to drive but just so cool.

Lovely - except for that arch gap which is not following the radius of the tyre. That would bug me after spending so much effort on getting the rest of the car right!
