I'm desparately trying to remember the name of that independent jobby that was about teenage "streetracers" set in Brighton. Lead protagonist had a capri. I think the sequal had him shipping it to the states and a blown V8 fitted. www.imdb.com/title/tt0490114/ Called Dolphins and utterly atrocious piece of film making - all the better really! Did not know that there was a sequel... Scurries off to look... Rysz.

the big bus......ok not car related but quite good all the same Ha ha! The Big Bus is quality, possibly my favourite film as a young lad, then again maybe Silver Streak. Anyway, I would like to vote for UNCLE BUCK.

Public enemies, it's all about the car getaways. With straight 8 power being the top billing.

How about rather than routinely list every film that's ever had a car in we talk about some of the forth coming films we might all appreciate? The "32 Hours And 7 Minutes" looks interesting - I've read Brock Yates' book on the history of the Cannonball Ball Baker Sea To Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash and think it's fascinating. I think events like the Gumball and other homages to the Cannonball (plus the naff films) totally miss the whole point and mentality behind the original events. Mad Max 4 "Fury Road" is set for filming in 2010 and while it will be lacking Mel Gibson it looks to be of similar creed to the original Mad Max films. You can see the new Pursuit Special and a Ute from the film here: madmaxmovies.com/mad-max-4-fury-road/cars/fury-road-interceptor/index.htmlTenuously car related I know but the new A-Team movie is filming and of course the big question for us is what's the deal with the new van. The answer seems to be it's barely changed, which I think is a good thing, scroll to the bottom of this page to see some pics: www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1217409/Pictured-Silver-haired-Liam-Neeson-commands-The-A-Team-new-look-cast-seen-time.html

Curiously it looks like they've given the vans the paint scheme everyone always thought they had, black with the red flash, rather than dark grey above the flash and black below.

MWF that Holden ute looks amazingly cool in a ratty/patina'd way, plus surely Mad Max would have kept his original interceptor rather thatn started with a new one?
That said did it get destroyed, it's been so long since i saw it i can't remember!

The V8 Interceptor got totalled in Road Warrior (MM2) and Max took to driving a massive truck running on rail tracks for Thunderdome. Not sure where this leaves the option of another Interceptor for MM4? By Thunderdome, most vehicles seemed to have developed/evolved to have little resemblence to 'road cars' due to being rebuilt/modified to cope with the post-apocolyptic terrain (or cobbled together out of various machines due to lack of available motors) Maybe Max happens to 'stumble' across one tucked away in the basement of the original MFP HQ? Maybe MM4 goes back to a time between Mad Max and Road Warrior?? (a mid-qual?? MM1.5??) Pure speculation on my behalf......best ignore me
