Well - with this new thread, 'the bus' will now become my baby.

OB and myself bashed heads recently and had been chatting a while about my plans for a show/race rig getup....
OB - 'I've got the spare one (Taunus shell) in the barn'
Me - 'How much?'
OB - 'Nowt mate - but what if.....(another OB top secret plan mentioned)'
Me - You really want to go build one of them?
OB - 'Yup - forsaking all others'
Me - 'Ill take that (THE bus) off your hands then, 'tis perfect for the role'
OB - 'Well until I find the one I want - I have nowt to do, I'll get crackin shall I? I mean, it's got holes in it already - and it should fit OK'
Me - 'OK - measurements shall be forthcoming and I'll be back sharpish so we can get this all done'
OB - 'No worries, it's yours fella - and that's a crackin plan for it - I'll gladly sort that out for you'
various other measurements taken, guess-timates done - and extremely rough timeline sketched out, done deal ;D
Me - 'EXCELLENT! - Toodle pip - off back to sort out yet another shed'
OB - 'I'm off into the garage'
Scary has been PM'd regarding measurements required from this:
so it'll go on the back of this:
OB has already started - as it had holes in it already
..... and my next seasons complete race/show rig is under construction.
I'll let OB fill in the (now MASSIVE) gaps. I'll be concentrating on getting the donor lump n running gear into the racer - OB will be sorting the transporter out proper sharpish by the looks of some of the photo's I've already had ;D
Stoked already - and now thinking up as many excuses as possible to get over to OB towers and help crack on until I get the GT6 in my shed in Brussels.
We'll keep you posted.
