hello all.......after looking around for a while i thought i'd join your forum....i guess some people know the car from various mags, shows, racetracks etc....At the moment the transformation from a 1500hp nitrous engine to a 2000hp+ capable pump gas twin turbo engine is nearly completed.... that was me riding round Louisiana at the World Street Race with nitrous guru Butch Schrier.... the turbo conversion...it's on the dyno at the moment about to rotate the earth.... ;D thanks to Nigel Colwell of Altiss Engineering www.altiss.com for all the fabrication work. If your interested i'll post some dyno pics.... btw, this car ran 8.2 at 177mph in the 1/4 before the turbo conversion, and it's fully street legal and street driven...

Hey Andy, looking forward to seeing how those hairdryers work out for you. Saw your old car for sale a little while ago with a 396 and a powerglide in it and was very tempted.

Kickass car Andy!! just keeps getting better and better... I remember meeting you a year or so ago when you were helping out Simon Barlow and the Orange Pop Crew with a misfire, (I was the dude looking like a spare part, holding the camera)
Oh yeah - I believe I've got your old bonnet on my Victor estate!! (from Red Victor1)

Taken from Eurodragster.com's website.... Unfortunately the 2000hp dyno at Knight racing services could not hold the power enough to get proper HP and Torque readings of the engine. This is due to the huge amount of torque present at almost all rpms...We could only get a reading at 6000 + rpm of 1600hp and 1330 ft lbs but it was still failing to hold the full power...fortunately we have mapped the engine sufficiently to be able to run at a fair pace straight away with only a little bit of trimming to do....thanks again to Steve Szczpanski of MPS Canada,Nigel Colwell at Altiss Engineering,Malcolm and Pete at Knight racing services for their sterling efforts for the last 5 days, also Nimbus Motorsports for all their Torco Oils and Heat Management products and Holset turbos for their incredible Turbo Chargers..... Now for the real work, getting it all to the track.... We reckon there was 1800ft lb and 1750hp lower in the rev range...Lots more power to come over the next year or so....this year is a test session...
