Yep - that S. African Red/White Citi I see every night on the way home - I've flashed him a few times but never got any response! The Green MK1 is from just down the road from me and I normally see it on the M4 (I think it leaves about 15 minutes before me) What colour is the Rocco? There's 3 in Thatcham that all travel in to Reading every morning.........! What time do you come back down the A4 in the evenings? .............it seems I pass you in the same place each day - by the Spring Inn Resturant.........!?

yeah, that restaurant that used to be a posh chippy! Ive only seen the other rocco a couple of times, its black i think! Neither the green golf or the citi golf let on, i guess they just don't know! On all the forums ppl talk about all the props u get for driving a mk1 golf, getting flashed etc, but not me I'm usually on the a4 at about 5.30 ish (and usually see a lower than low v nice mk2 gti with a chequered roof by th spring inn), but, the cheeky little road i use to get to work is shut, so gotta go down the m4/a33 way for the next 2 weeks!

Where do you live then? - thought your were from Oxon? 5:30 ish - bloody hell, what time you finish work then? I don't get on the A4 until 6:30........... When I see you I'll make sure I flash (the headlights!)

That's the time I'm normally on the M4 - I get off at Jct 6. Might see you tomorrow morning then (Would it be quicker / easier if you went through Aldermaston / Tadley on the A339?)

If you use the car more often than the "main" driver as stated on the policy, it invalidates it and it is illegal as you are witholding this information.......sorry! There's no right or wrong or grey area, it's just illegal! (You are "defrauding" them to give it the technical term, I think) And, as I've seen several times, they do find out.....especially when it comes to claiming. Plus the fact that you're usually flagged being a second young driver anyway... We had a big discussion about it on the TDC, when one of the members put himself on his parents insurance...god forbid he have a crash! I'm not poo-pooing or anything i'm just stating the facts JUST DON'T HAVE AN ACCIDENT! ..anyway, you are just delaying the bill. Irrespective of how long you have been driving, your first years insurance in your own name will be high. I know mine was

I would not like to urinate on your incendiary conflagration! It's just I've seen a lot of people stung for being named secondary drivers, when they are in reality the main drivers! It seems to be a very common trend, just don't want to see anyone else get jacked over by it..... And no, but I do know people who do! Oh btw, I think the Golf on P-slots was a perfectly acceptable alternative to the Sprint, mind you, cannae really compare them but still

sprints are apparently quite costly if they go wrong (especially the engines) I heard from the chap who sorts out my brothers gt6, so gave it a miss, although they are damned cool cars!
Cant believe that 750bhp one, would be tempted to have one of those to go with my metro 6r4 when i win the lottery (gotta remember to buy a ticket) old skool cool with the power to boot!

Yea I just knocked it up to slam it a bit. Sorry for havin a go at ya earlier, it was nuthin personal and I don't wanna get off on the wrong foot! Just insurance always seems to grate with me, probably cause the whole things sucks ass! Dealing with the companies just does my head in, plus there's always those nutters without it and the modifications sections are starting to get at me nastily... Anyways...... Colour changing in photoshop, can be done several ways. It depends what you are trying to do...matt black bonnet? To do specfic areas you have to mask them off using the lasso tools, then use either Image>Adjustment and various colour options (such as balance, hue, brightness, contrast, colour replace and so on. Just lop some coils off

Nothing wrong with being a named driver on your parents insurance,.. I was for a long time... If you are a named driver, but the principal user of the vehicle, then you need to declare that to your insurers. I was named driver (but principal user) on my Amazon until recently (only just 25), and lived at a different address to the policy holder (dad) but it was all legal. That way, it worked out being £700 instead of £1500!! The brokers even used to give me a cover note with my address on it whenever I had to renew my resident's parking permit, as the car wasn't registered at that address. Now I'm 25, it's £500 with no ncb, but clean licence and no accidents.
